My RLS has settled for the time being. Thank you for the information and support!
For the past six months, I've been RLS free! I'm so happy about this and it has made such a difference to my sleep and wellbeing. I have the wonderful, supportive people on here to thank, and especially SueJohnson. Because I received such a good amount of information last year, I was able to check

Change of brand of Levothyroxine tablets
Hi Everyone I think I remember reading on here that it is best to stay on the same brand of levothyroxine and not to change it. I have just received my new 25mcg levothyroxine tablets from the pharmacy and they have changed the brand. Previously I was on Wockhardt 25mcg. This time they have given

Hi, I am feeling rather unwell, but my blood tests are 'ok' so just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm also very down in the dumps about it. I had Hashimotos 25 years ago, and after a long and difficult fight, managed to get my dose of Levothyroxine to 150/175mcg alternate days. Twice when

Not feeling the Heat like I usually do!!!
Hi all For years, I've really felt the heat during the summer months but, this summer, I'm actually feeling quite comfortable, which is great and I'm certainly not complaining. I have change my thyroid meds, at the end of last year, so several months ago. I was on Levothyroxine 150mcg daily but GP

Blood test
I know from this community how important it is to test first thing in the morning but my doctors' surgery is very stretched and my blood test appointment can't be changed from late morning. I'm not sure I can last without any food until 30 minutes after the appointment. How bad is it to eat something

sun sensitivity
curious question- does Levothyroxine effect you in the sun?? I’ve never had any issues before being in the sun- and today I’ve been out maybe for an hour or so and my skin is so sore and itchy?? I know with having a underactive thyroid you get dry skin etc but this is bizzare?

Latest test results
My latest Thyroid results were: TSH 0.05, up from 0.0006; T3 3.2, down from 5.1; T4 8.1, down from 12.1 Not surprising, when you take into account that I was on 3.5 grains of NDT and this was replaced with just 100mcg Levothyroxine and 20mcg Liothyroxine. My dossages have been increased to 150mcg Levo

Ear dilema
Hi folks 💛 I recently followed some bad advice and put warmed, diluted tea tree oil in my slightly clogged, itchy ear not realising that Tea Tree can be Ototoxic to the Cochlear. I diluted 3 drops of Tea Tree oil in 30ml of Olive oil and put 0.5 ml in my ear. I let it sit there for around 10 minutes

Heart palpitations with levothyroxine
Hi, I have had annunderacrive thyroid for 13 years now. The past 3 years I've really struggled with heart palpitations (all heart checks done and no condition found) I've now come to realise it coincides with taking my thyroxine tablets, because I stopped fully dor 8 weeks and the heart palpitations

Thyroid help!
Alright it’s been a while since I posted. I had my baby in July last year and since I’ve not been taking care of myself and forgetting my levothyroxine most mornings after sleepless nights. About 8 weeks ago I switched taking my Levo in the morning to the evening as I had more time while baby was asleep

"TSH of 5.21 does not warrant levo increase"
Just that. According to my GPs I am perfectly fine and my TSH is only barely out of range and doesn't need my medication to be increased 🤔 what even is the point of their stupid range if they're not even going to pay attention to it? Luckily I have a letter from the Endo stating they want my TSH below

Feeling anxious on T3
I have switched from 75mcg Levo plus 1 grain of Armour a day to approx 112mcg of Levo plus 20 mcg of Liothyronine a day and am feeling very anxious. Is this a normal symptom when adding in more T3?

Tirosint - any experience
Hi I’m on holiday in Greece. I usually buy my levothyroxine (hate being reliant on brand lottery with NHS prescription). I usually get Unipharma. The Greek pharmacist suggested Tirosint as it contains no additives but it’s 8 rather than 2 euros for a months supply. Has anybody used it and if so does

thyroxine dosage
Can anyone tell me if 12 and a half of levo could be enough. If I try to go higher I seem to be worse. Have struggles for many years trying to increase dose. Am no better on NDT or T3 only.
