Is anyone else experiencing supply problems with TEVA Levothyroxine ?

I may be clutching at straws here but I'm wondering whether anyone else has experienced hair loss on the Teva brand of Levothyroxine? My 20 year old daughter has a diagnosis of (secondary) hypothyroidism and takes 10mcg of Liothyronine plus 50/75 mcg of Levo on alternate days.

Just had an allergic reaction. Burning mouth/tongue for a couple of days . Yesterday had uncomfortable feeling in the chest ( like when overmedicated) Burning seemed to worsen over a couple of hours and Tongue swollen and some difficulty in swallowing. I’ve been on TEVA brand levothyroxine for 10 years. I believe it’s been discontinued. My pharmacy has stopped stocking it and gave me Accord brand. I’ve been on it for 2 months and feel awful. I’ve read that brand switching can do this. What can I do??

The chemist managed to source Teva liquid levothyroxine three weeks after we asked for a repeat prescription. My son is feeling awful and totally drained about 40 minutes after taking the Teva liquid Levothyroxine and needs to go to bed for the rest of the day.

Hi, I was diagnosed back in 2019 with hypothyroidism and been on Teva Levothyroxine ever since. I take 50 micrograms and then 75 micrograms the next day and so on.

Given the number of members who are intolerant to Teva levothyroxine, this video might be of some interest. Many suspect it is the mannitol content of Teva levothyroxine that lies behind the intolerance.

11 weeks ago my Levothyroxine (Teva) was increased a tiny bit from 100 to 125 on alternate days.Latest results TSH 0.11 (0.27-4.2) T3 1.0 (3.1-4.2) T4 23 (12-22) I've reduced again to 100mcg as of a few days ago. They'll retest again in a couple of months.

Hi Has anyone tried Teva levothyroxine solution, and had positive results compared to taking any levothyroxine tablets? To cut a very long story short, the 75 mcg Wockhardt tablets I take are causing terrible pressure all over body and excruiciating burning through top of my head.
