thyroid blood results following almost 3 months on T3
hi everyone, I’ve been on 10 mcg T3 and 50 mcg T4 for almost three months. I asked my GP for a blood test after 9 weeks (just thyroid as I’m taking vitamins and these were ok at last test 9 weeks earlier) I’m hoping you can advise me as I’m wondering if my levothyroxine needs increasing. I would point

stage 3 adrenal insufficiency
apologies if this isn’t very coherent. I just got the results of a saliva test and it says stage 3 adrenal insufficiency. My dhea has dropped to 44. This is all much worse than a year ago, sorry I don’t have the numbers to hand. Might post tomorrow when not feeling so terrible. my question is

Wockhardt supply issue?
Is anyone aware of a supply issue in UK of Wockhardt Levothyroxine? I was unable to fulfil my usual prescription in England last week, and have faced the same problem attempting to get it instead in Wales this week, with only Teva or Accord offered. A coincidence perhaps with an unlucky choice of pharmacies

This test was taken 8am, fasting, Levo 25 hours prior, T3 13 hours prior, no vitamins for 24 hours prior, no b vitamins or vitamin D one week prior and I don’t take iron supplements

Dr appointment
Following on from my blood results posted yesterday, I had a phone appointment today. It was with a doctor I don’t know from another practice, and I hope I never have to consult with her again. First thing she asked was why have I stopped taking my medication?!! I assured her I haven’t (this seems

would I benefit from T3?
hi, currently on 50mcg Levothyroxine but still struggling with fatigue (although I also have PoTS). My latest results are: T4: 16.5 (11.9-21.6) TSH: 0.49 (0.27-4.2) T3: 4.6 (3.9-6.8) would T3 be of any benefit?

Request for help with results please - endo appt pending! Apologies for long post
Hi All. (Just FYI, diagnosed Graves & hyper Jan 21. RAI June 21. Diagnosed hypo Aug 21).It may seem silly to say that until I joined this group, I thought that accepting that "feeling better" is not the same as "feeling well", and I had wrongfully been accepting of the fact that since starting my thyroid

TSH lower but T4 lower too
I have been taking 50mcg Levo daily for the last 2 years for subclinical hypothyroidism. I've recently started feeling really tired and rough again so did some bloods. My TSH has come down from the previous 3 but my T4 is down too. My CRP is raised too and has been for last 2 years around same level. My

GP Issues Again With Levo Dose Reduction
I am writing once again with regard to my mothers Thyroid situation. This has been going on for many years 🙄 My mother GP/GPs have been slowly reducing her Levo dose for years, saying she is over medicated. They are as usual focusing on her TSH bloods thinking because her TSH is below zero she’s over

Advice on halting bone loss following Dexa and hrt or other supplements.
Thyroid cancer at 23, high dose T4 requiring propranolol for 17 years, then battles over dosage post menopause as rules changed. T3, when measured, always seemed to be at a good level. I didn't take HRT as it was at the height of the cancer scare. I regret it now. Sjogrens and very low vitamin D diagnosed

Update on the dreaded G.P appointment…
Just got back from my appointment with the G.p (Copied a bit of history from my last post for reference. ) Well…it was horrible, but to cut a long story short - he agreed on a small increase in levothyroxine from 50mcg to 75mcg. Although it was a long, arduous process, and he made me feel as if I was
