Am I a poor converter?
I've just had my latest blood test results after starting 50mg Levothyroxine 6 weeks ago:TSH 1.65 (0.27-4.2) FT4 15.9 (12-22) 39% through range FT3 3.4 (3.1-6.8) 8% through range FT4:FT3 ratio is therefore 4.7. Just before starting Levothyroxine, my results were: TSH 5.88 FT4 12 FT3 3.44 FT4:FT3

Liothyronine brands available via the NHS
Hi there, I've recently managed to acquire an incredibly elusive NHS Liothyronine prescription. It took me a while to prove I needed it but my GP has agreed to a shared care agreement with a private GP I see who specialises in Thyroid disease treatment. I'm taking 40mcg of Liothyronine spread across

Not feeling better on T4 (Help)
I just started taking levothyroxine at 25mcg and felt joint pain, suppressed appetite, fatigue, and jitters. Am i taking too much? Is there something about the fillers about levothyroxine or something? I am confused because I have hypothyroidism and feel like **** alot. I heard Synthroid has less fillers

Dose increase symptoms
Hello, I'm wondering what kind of symptoms people have experienced on a levo dose increase. I'm 12 days in on a 75 to 100 dose after about a decade of being on 75. I'm aware of people feeling wired, more anxious, palpitations. Anything weird or wonderful you can recall encountering along the way?

Levothyroxine - anxiety , chronic fatigue, HRT and eating disorder - does anyone else have these symptoms ?
hi thyroiders - I am yo-yoing from extreme anxiety to extreme fatigue . I am getting really low thoughts as I can’t sustain a relationship - I can barely look after my children and they live with me half the time. I feel so afraid as over the last 16 years this is getting worse and worse Just started

Help with latest blood results.
Edit - I posted the rest of my results in the replies because I didn't know how to post multiple images. Hello all I have posted here before although not for a while. So a bit of a back story I have suffered a range of symptoms for around 2 years now. And actually don't feel as though I've felt well

Latest blood test advice please I moved to 75mcg after taking bloods but now I’m not sure it’s a good idea.
Hi all I’ve been on 50mcg Levothyroxine now for around 7 weeks ish and I tested Monday privately. I increased my dose to 75mcg thinking I needed it but my TSH has come back as 1.35 which was a bit of a shock I was still expecting it to be in the 3’s. My T4 looks to be at around 50% while my T3 is around

Extreme hair loss!
My hair has been dramatically falling out for a while now but from day 2 of taking
Teva
levothyroxine
it became twice as bad!!! I stopped taking it today as I will have no hair left at this rate, but cannot get in touch with my GP! Has anybody else had this problem?

Omeprazole, T3 & acid issues-advice appreciated
Hello everyone, Advice/observations appreciated on any of the following from you knowledgeable people. I know that PPIs can cause issues with T4 and are advised for short term use only and should be taken at least 4 hours away from Levo but what about T3, any restrictions on leaving a time lapse? Asking

Stopping Levothyroxine temporarily
I found out I had an underactive thyroid when had a routine blood test after breast cancer diagnosis. I had no symptoms, but was put on Levothyroxine (50) by GP at the time. I was also on Letrozole to stop estrogen. I was on Letrozole for 7 years, but since stopping it, I've had tummy problems...bloating

Levothyroxine in the USA
Does anyone have any clear information regarding what brands of levothyroxine are available in the states and which ones a most well tolerated? I'm moving there at the end of the year and I'm starting to think about my hypo treatment transition. I've had issues with changing brands in the past and

T3 much better but feeling worse again!
I'm on a high dose of levo, 200mcg per day (I weigh 80kg right now), and just got test results back that show my T3 levels are much improved. However, of course, my TSH is now below range and my T4 way over. My ferritin, etc, is as bad as it's ever been, despite taking 210mg of ferrous fumarate each

mixing brands
What exactly does that mean because I’m on Levo Mercury pharma, & my latest prescription came back as Almus pharma. I don’t actually see a brand name. Now do I keep on with Mercury or will it not make a difference which pharma it comes from, do I insist in sticking to one or just go along with whatever

can you just stop taking Levothyroxine
hi this is my first post on here, so I’m hoping I’m doing it right. I just wondered if anyone can tell me if you can just stop taking Levothyroxine after only 4 months. I didn’t have any symptoms at all before, but had a routine blood test & apparently I have hypothyroidism. I now feel unhealthy after

medichecks lab results - advice needed please
Around 6-8 weeks ago I posted looking for private endocrinologist recommendations. I received some great advice about getting my labs done. I did that and all my Thyroid levels were in range (although not optimal) I’ll post those results after I’ve posted this message and the current lab results. @[262845
