Low Testosterone?
I know that
testosterone
drops with age and I have now turned 53, however, I noticed that around 6 to 9 months ago my sex drive seemed to just vanish. It's not something I have suffered from noticeably before... even in my now advancing years!!

TESTOSTERONE
TOTAL MAYO 14 (Normal Range: 8-60 (ng/dL)) My doctor is rechecking hormones and also adding a cortisol test and sending me for an MRI to check for issues with my pituitary gland. Any insight you may have would be helpful.

Poor egg equality, day 3 tranfer, need advice/encouragement
My
testosterone
was mildly low and Vit D was severely low. Otherwise my AMH is normal x2, karyotype testing normal. After the recent failed FET, I started acupuncture and a variety of supplements (fish oil, vitamin D, acai, goji berry, and melatonin per my acupuncturist).

These symptoms became more acute during the last two years on Orgovyx with hemoglobin dropping to 9. ( I also had four treatments of LU177) But since stopping Orgovyx a few months ago, hemoglobin is now up to 10.6 and
testosterone
at 90.

Low sex drive and relationship issues
My Doctor advised me that I might have low
testosterone
levels, so he got that checked and he said the diabetes might be the cause of that. I think my poor sleep pattern isn't helping.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy ????
My
testosterone
recovered to greater than 200 in late 2019. For 2.5 years
testosterone
continued to climb up to over 400 but then started to decline about 2 years ago. My last 2 readings were a level of 125 and my oncologist is now recommending TRT.

Provenge criteria necessary for acceptance.
But are there other requirements like certain PSA parameters and lower
testosterone
levels? Do we have to remain on ADT while being treated with Provenge?

DHEA test - any particular day ?
My
testosterone
is 0.7 which is at the lower range so should be fine: is there any point in a test ? Shall I just take a small dose like 25mg a day ? Thank you :)

Another update on potential meds intolerance
In the meantime I'm ordering compounded
testosterone
cream, endo says it should help with fatigue and libido. Very tired of these experiments, all I know is that I have issues tolerating meds, potentially need to split them and change a little.

Hi all, this thread is really aimed at male PMR patients who are receiving or who are considering
Testosterone
Replacement Therapy (that's not to say that women are forbidden from contributing!)

Experience, thus far with Lupron and Abiraterone
My last measured PSA was 0.01 and my
testosterone
was below the detection level of their analytical machine So far, I am positive about the outcome of my treatment regimen, but not naive though. I wish you all in this life's journey a Merry Christmas and a happy prosperous "curative" 2024.

mHSPCa with undetectable PSA - chemo-only?
Contrary to the first study, this study indicates ADT should be used for the low-PSA “Therefore, we believe it is prudent to consider long-term ADT as part of the
testosterone
suppression treatment plan when using radiotherapy as the local treatment in patients with Gleason scores of 8 to 10 and PSA
