Hmmmm...I am bit confused.... As Georgejee suggest to consume 1gm/body weight. So if person is 100 Kg he should consume 100 Gms of long wheat. And the members will ask how can those heavy carbs will help a diabetic to lead to cure....No logical answer....
Long wheat does not spike.....you can check

Blood Result
Hi Apologies for the long long post I have Diabetes type 2, Thyroidectomy, B12 deficiency, Calcium Deficiency. I constantly feel unwell with foggy brain, aches and pains and fatigue. Everything is always blamed on high blood sugars. They never seem to look past me being a diabetic which is frustrating

D-Day
I guess I knew D-Day would hit me at some point. Yesterday I was told I 'probably' have Diabetes 2 (will have definite results in fortnight) - but it's borderline, phew. change of diet and lack of energy
I have been sugar and wheat free for about 6 days now and feel dreadful, no energy. totally lack luster .Is this to be expected. I know I am still undermedicated on NDT and have been increasing slowly, every 6 weeks after bloods. Not due a blood test for next 3 weeks.

What is more important....FBS or PPBS
I am daily checking my FBS..and once in week when there is holiday and I am at home I do check my PPBS. However I think you can always cheat PPBS with low carb diet...long wheat diet....or may be eating lunch in small quantity... You can always cheat PPBS...but for FBS you don't have any sure shot control
