As per your height and age your wt seems to be perfectly OK. Even after that you are diagnosed with type-2 it's very unusual. Your case is quite similar to me although I was slightly over wt.
Any my advice to you to reduce carbs as much as possible. Exercise and increase your muscles mass. I doing it religiously and free from all drgs till now
I request other members to share some information about such cases. I mean are they really type-2 or type-1.5.
Hi Mayank,
What age you found diabetic?
What medicines you took?
How long you have taken medicines?
What diet you followed strictly?
When did you get liberation from English Medicines?
Are you using any other natural/home made Medicines to keep your blood sugar normal?
Kindly share your experience and know your suggestions
Thanks,
Dinkar
I was diagnosed at the age of 32 with Hba1C 10.3. For around one and half month I was on medicine. I started my journey with intensive cardio exercise and Dr Roy Taylor 600 calorie diet theory (just Google it more info) and able to loose my wt from 64 to 47 within two months and after then I am able to maintain my Hba1C 5.5, 5.7, 5.2 after that I did not get Hba1C test. I am only testing with my simple machine.
My journey is full of dedication to level or beyond limits and following my gym plan religiously. yes I can say it proudly as my stamina is highest between my all non diabetic friends or gym mates.
But I don't that I am type-2 diabetic or type-1.5
I mean I think I am not able to produce normal amount of insulin.
I am diabetic for around two years now and all my readings are in normal range most of the times but even after all the efforts done by me. I have got readings around 170 maximum one time and 160 may be two time and around 140 around 10 times.
One more very strange thing I noticed that only and only during lunch time my body can not tolerate very less amount of carbs. When ever I got high readings it was during lunch only from the day one.( can anybody else faced same kind of body response)
I have decided to fight this curse put on my head to the extent of beyond imagination of normal people.
Mayank
You are awesome.
First good thing is you are able to manage diabetic and today you have non diabetic stage with your dedicated diet which made you free from medicines
Second good thing is you shared your experience to this forum quickly so that people can also try the same to become NON diabetic
I am also diabetic since 2 years but living with medicines. So thought of trying 600 calories diet to experiment whether it works fine in my case or not
As you said, I started searching 600 calories diet in the google but found lots of information again I am not able to conclude how to start my diet
I think if you are currently staying at India then you please guide me your diet what you have followed as part of 600 calories.
Are you still using 600 calories diet now ?
I would be really grateful to you if you can let me know what food you take and how will you count calories
#1. Brakefast

#4. Dinner
Or any other food or brakes or exercises or activities
Thanks,

Yes you can also follow 600 calorie diet.
Now I am not on 600 calorie diet. I followed this diet for àround two months and get my wt.down to 47 kg from 64. Then I started high protein diet with muscles training in gym and put on some lean mass to 52 kg now.
Regards to 600 calorie diet
I just Google each and every thing that is how much calorie a fruit contains, how much carb it contains etc . Then I prepared a diet accordingly by myself which sum to 600 calorie. I also taking multivitamin capsule and Chromium supplement.
I hope it will help you.
Get up to your tose and nailed it.
For any further information please feel free
I am diabetic for the last 32 years. First I was declared type-2 diabetic and after 10 years on oral medicine I was declared Type-1 I am taking Insulin for last 20 years . It is not curable disease but you can control your BS with oral medicine, exercise, and simply by diet.It is my advice that your blood sugar fasting must never go below 70 it may create problems.Low Blood sugar is more harmful than High as I have noticed several times.
You can do it. But will need a disciplined life style . Regular schedule of your daily routine. NO tobacco and no alcohol. Not much change in diet except plenty of vegetables and sprouted daals, yoghurt and moderation of non veg.and a bit of more fat like desi ghee and cheese in your diet. Reduce a little carbohtdrates like rice ,wheat ,potato etc and follow all other restrictions advised by your doctor.
Please don't miss out your daily work out or running or walking.
And please don't worry,it's going to be ok.
Good luck.
From the day one of my diagnosis of diabetes at early age with very little over wt (only 2 kg) I am quite confused that I am really type-2 diabetic or towards type-1.
Can anybody having any idea in this regard
You can go for GAD65 +fasting insulin +fasting glucose and pp insulin and glucose. It will an idea if you are suffering from Type 1 or type2.
Dont blame you panacreas blame you poor eating habit life style .. that causes you to became a diabetic.
If you are able to control your sugar without any medicine then there is no chance of type1. Doctors in india makes type2 people a type1. By simply suggesting tabs tabs n tabs. When all tabs are over go for insulin shot and keep increasing your dose. They never takked about diet change.
Its your diet that keeps you helathy and keep your diabetes away from your body. Follow LCHF you dont need to be even check your daily blood sugar. Yes if you are lifting weight then try to lift only thrice a weak. Enjoy nature by walking. Eat right food. And follow your dream. Dont take diabetes so serious change your diet. And lifestyle. Its blessing in disguise.
I am partially agree with you in regards that I am not type-1.
But is it possible that some body can not produce normal amount of insulin to be normal levels of sugar but not so less to be in the range of type-1. Also I do not agree that diabetes came to the individuals who are living sedantry life style and eating more carbs by that logic at least 80 to 95 % of population should be diabetic but that is not the case. All non diabetic people are living same unhealthy life and eating.
We are among 10 to 15% unlucky persons who are suffering and this is not our fault.
No you are taking it wrong.
If you are not eating tablet then you are not diabetic anymore you have to just eat healthy food.
If you think Eating healthy food is not good if you think you havenot liberty to go out with your friends and eat burger at night drink beer at 3 AM . then you are in wron direction. Dude those who are living this life style they are in verge o gettin diabtes. If you sint think so then take your meter and try one of your friend faating and pobs then you come to know. I m not feeling unlucky here i am blessed. I just pray to god that i eat healthy i luve healthy and die healthy.
Hi Suman,
Dont feel depressed , you are not alone that at this age you became a diabetic. I was also a diabetic and was diagnoised on 16 Aug 2015 with fasting 300 ppbs 500 A1C of 10.8.
What i thought at that time my life is finished my doctor was so horrible that she said you became type1 diabetic and you have to take insulin for your lifetime.
Holy shit!!!!!
They talked like illiterate people.
I do lots of RnD and and changed my doc. He dropped down my insulin and started tabs within 3 months, i was completely med off. With hba1c of 5.3
What i did on these 3 month is i follow a strict low carb high fat diet. And did regular excercise.
I am living a healthy lifestyle these days hitting gym thrice a week .
Enjoying home food with less carb and readinga are absoultely normal
Fbs under 100 ppbs under 120.
I donot consider myself as diabetic now. Yes myblife has changed my diet has changed and i feel i am blessed.
The root cause of being a diabetic for our generation is horrible life style. Horrible eating habit nothing else. We eat at 1 AM night sleep at 4 AM and wake up at 1 PM next day. It has to pay off.
Diabetes is blessing in disguise if you take it seriously if you not then it will again come up.
God bless you.
Take only two small home made chapattis (25 gn atta) in Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Half cup curd in Lunch and Dinner. Take plenty of salad. Vegetable upto as much you feel satisfactory. Some fruits in afternoon. No sugar in Tea/cofee. No rich food. Take proper medicine /may be you require insulin for few months . Go for a walk 20 minutes at least morning and evening .
Split your meal.Eat not to fill your stomach but just to satisfy your hunger. If you are rice dependent switch over to brown or red rice, whole wheat, and oats for breakfast.Consume more of nuts.Ground nut is also good to satisfy your hunger.Eat lot of greens.Learn to check glycemic index and glycemic load of your food intake using Google.Go for regular walk, stick to doctors advice and last of all keep calm because diabetes is not a disece but a malfunction of internal organ.I am diabetic for the last 25 years and my suger level is reasonably under control .It can not be cured but can be controlled.
