Just one more for tonight
Tendonitis
meant that he constantly limped. He is much happier without it, but he does have a corn on his central toe now. Fortunately he loves our vet and will let her hull the corn with no fuss. I know I tend to rabbit on about my favourite things.

Just here for a moan.
I completed week 8 almost two weeks ago now and life/stress has gotten in the way of me starting week 9 so this weekend I managed to clear my head, organise myself again and got myself all ready to complete week 9 this week. Well I've now got myself a lovely foot injury which is a pain to walk on let

KT Tape
Does anyone use KT Tape or Rock Tape for foot drop or ms hug? If so, do you have to wear it all the time for it to work?

One leg shorter than the other
Started in May with posterior tibial
tendonitis
. That cleared up after getting insoles (I have an almost flat right foot). Earlier this year stated running after a break and started to suffer with shin splints.

PROOF THAT MADOPAR ACTUALLY WORKS .... (for me).
Over the past several months, I have begun to notice that my legs are starting to ache after I have been walking for a considerable amount of time. This afternoon it became much worse, to the point of actual quite serious pain. (And I can't for the life of me, believe how I could have been so astoundingly

Is this RLS?
I have just joined this forum as I had no sleep last night at all. I get a horrible "tickling" feeling in my thigh and arm. Is this RLS? There is no pain, just this horrible tickling, crawling sensation that is relentless all night long. I was thrashing about in bed, then out of bed, tried again, same

Does PMR “cause” OA, etc.?
Since ending prednisone 3 1/2 months ago, I have had (non-symmetrical) shoulder pains, episodic sore elbows and wrists, possible carpal tunnel tingling and intermittent numbness, sore thigh muscles (
tendonitis
?), and the list goes on.

Day 2 of hospital
Well I had an appetite today for the first time in 12 days! Food sucks but edible. I think I ate too much even though I still didn’t eat much... For some reason they didn’t start my chemo until super late last night so now it won’t be done until late Friday night. I was very lucky to have visitors

Madopar - does anyone take it?
I was on Pergolide for 18 years. Wonderful. Cured my restless legs until they took it off the market. Now my neurosurgeon has given me Madopar which doesn’t touch the problem. Help!

Plantar fasciitis
The plantar fasciitis and
tendonitis
(injured in August) has been unbelievably painful. I now wear arch supports and a plantar fasciitis sock and use a running machine at the gym. I’m desperate to get outside again but I’m trying to be sensible.

My C to 5k Journey (Warning - Long Post)
I had a nasty flare up of
tendonitis
in both knees. I had to rest for 6 weeks before my physio put me on what she called an injury couch to couch to 5k programme. Basically, starting at 5 x 30 second runs and building up over 3 weeks until I was ready to move back to week 1 of C to 5K.

Really missing my runs!
I have not ran since Valentine's day, I got to run 2 of week 4, and got
tendonitis
in my ankle. I feel so fed up I was really enjoying my runs, 2 weeks on my ankle is still swollen and can be painful at the end of the day.

Can’t Handle Life?
The title is a bit misleading-I can muddle-but scheduling appointments, working with pharmacy, ADL, and any type of media (Facebook, etc) overwhelms me. At times it is grueling and exhausting!! Seems like so little- has to quit Pinterest and Facebook to limit overexposure to “triggers”. In my previous

BAHG Achievement
So 2 months ago I decided to try and train really hard, lose weight and achieve my goal to run 5K in under 30 mins before May 16th, my 45th Birthday. I read some running websites which also said that in order to achieve your goal you need to aim for a BAHG (Big Audatious Hairy Goal). So my BAHG was sub

Stiff knees
I've done w7 run 1 today and now find my knees feel really stiff. I wouldn't say painful, just stiff and slow to move. Any ideas what this could be? I still feel I could run and definitely don't want to give up. What treatment if any should I have?

Yahoo! C25k is one of the best things I have ever done. It is truly amazing. It has been a long road with months on the injury couch and trying to get back up to running 5K after months away. Since the start of January I have been committed to losing weight, running more often and getting faster. I have

I've had
tendonitis
in one arm for almost two years having complained about the pain with my gp. She sent me off to the physio and I was given exercises. Physio said the shoulder muscle was flat (it made her chuckle) as I'd stopped using my right arm, wasn't doing much with it.

5Th Park run
Getting out of the car I found the achilles "tight" and subsequently during the day, walking was hindered, so I am assuming I have
tendonitis
which I suffered in my left leg some months ago.

Is aerobic exercise really THAT good?
As I can't currently do any running or exercise that agitates my archilles
tendonitis
I am still trying to burn calories enough calories a day to aid my weight loss. I use mapmyfitness to record my walks, cycles, runs and exercise. Today I did a 30 min brisk walk and burned 225 calories.
