I know I said I wouldn't but I just wanted you all to see my boys together. A friend made them their jimjams and they were the talk of the village when they were out and about. Greyhounds can get very cold at certain times of the years so do need something to keep them warm. You may also notice that Fidget only has 3 toes on his front left foot. Tendonitis meant that he constantly limped. He is much happier without it, but he does have a corn on his central toe now. Fortunately he loves our vet and will let her hull the corn with no fuss.
I know I tend to rabbit on about my favourite things. Do you think we do it to take our minds off what the real problem is....our breathing.
Goodnight my friends.

Hello fidgetandscooter , they are just so adorable! 😊 If you look at my posts you will see I rabbit on a lot about my favourite things too. My dog Chom and my miniature village. It definitely takes my mind off some of the unpleasantness of being ill. Thank you for sharing your beautiful boys. I think they are amazing.
Hi they look really sweet and very cosy no wonder they were the talk of the village. I love their pjs. Have a good night and take care of yourself 😊Bernadette xxx
It's called distraction therapy, so it's OK. I do the same to stop myself thinking about my arthritis soreness.
They are very handsome lads. I think I may have also mentioned my Mr T more than once! It’s nice to have a little glimpse of what makes other people happy.
They are lovely your dogs we do need something else to fix our minds on otherwise we be so boring talking about what hurts today and what hurt yesterday. We are all different and like different things but we all have one thing in common our breathing problems which bonds us. Thanks for posting all your photos of your pets and paintings and ditties and jokes. That's what makes this site unique. Xx😄
Just love them, they look so cute and colourful, no wonder they are the talk of the town, and you can talk as much as you like about them, they are great x
There are one or two places in the village where people let their dogs run riot. Fidget really doesn't like off lead dogs, especially if they come running up to him. We tend to walk where other dogs are on the lead. He's got the garden to do zoomies in, but he is far too lazy!!
I am surprised he is too lazy but understand the apprehension in a no leash area as you never know what to expect. From my experience with Greyhounds they love to run, but I’m sure you know the breed better that I do, and of course every dog is individual and has his/her own traits and personality in spite of what might be typical for the breed. Of course like humans i’m sure age plays a factor as well. 😊
I tend to nickname him my three toed sloth! He will break into a canter in the garden, but with his age and a sore foot, I think he moves however is comfortable for him.
What a fabulous sight to see....two handsome dogs in their cosy Jim jams😉 How nice of your friend to make them and how clever he/she is to be able to do it!!
I have 2 King Charles Cavalier darlings. Finlay is 9 years old and is Black & Tan and quite small, we've had him since 12 weeks, he's got such a lovely wee face. Lady is 7 she's tricolour and is quite a bit bigger than Fin. We took her when a friend discovered at the last minute that she couldn't take her with them when they moved into sheltered housing!! She's totally food orientated a very greedy girl but we love her too, she's been with us about 5 years now, I would upload a pic if I knew how!!
