Regulolix [Orgovyx]
I am looking for the experiences of those that are taking Regulolix [Orgovyx) with either, Xtandi , Erleada or Daralutamide. My Dr claims that Regulolix doesn't " play well with other ADT orals-guess of the "lutamide family " I listed above. I heard there are those that are taking Rugulolix with these

I want to try SARM's-Yes or No?
currently taking Nubeqa and Orgovyx and hate the sarcopenia I'm experiencing. I asked my MO about BAT and I've had two cycles of getting a month off ADT and receiving an injection of testosterone the month off of ADT before restarting ADT. I've read some positive reviews on this site about Ostarine

I was told by endo I could get t3 if I did 6 weeks on levo to show I don't convert properly. I did this on 175 levo but my t4 was rising out of range and t3 not in the highest range. I've been on ndt and t3 but always self sorced. But I was hoping to get t3 on percripton. The gp has said I now have to

I was on Eligard for two years and the hormone treatment was ended in October 2022. On July 3rd 2023 I had a minor heart attack. Fortunately I recognized the symptoms straight away and went directly to the ER. I had a >90% blockage in my right coronary artery, and ended up with one stent in the artery

eGFR down 14% since starting ADT
I just noticed that my estimated GFR which measures kidney health is down from 89 in October to 77 in June 2023. In October I started Lupron. Does Lupron impact kidney health? This is something I want to keep track off. Mark

Sweet!
Had 2nd of 90 days Lupron Feb 1-23 as adjuvant 6-month ADT therapy with my Salvage IMRT. First PSA test yesterday and T level. Undetectable (less than .006 uPSA) and T level of 30. Here's to hoping it stays down. I know BCR may happen over the long run with SVI, PNI, bladder neck, and surgical margins

ideal biochemistry monitoring
question: I know that there are protols for regular blood PSA and sometimes Testosterone when on SOC following RT and during the 2-3 years ADT (with localised high risk G9-10). My excellent ONC does a full biochemistry every 3 months with a face to face meeting which is great, but I will have to

New member, looking for alternatives to Thyroid-S
Dear all, I am new to this forum but not to thyroid disease. I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism in 1999, at age 29, and put on levothyroxine. I struggled on it for years, tried different brands, but never felt optimal. I needed 200 micrograms a day just to feel human, while doctors kept

Any informed opinions on NMN or NAMPT for advanced Pca - on ADT, no mets yet? Thanks! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4537380/
This question arose based on the advocacy of NMN by Harvard longevity doctor David Sinclair. He's the author of Lifespan: Why We Age - and Why We Don't Have To" Any known or postulated contraindications in taking NMN for advanced PCa? https://www.google.com/search?q=david+sinc%3Bair+youtube&oq=david

Glandulars and NDT, whatty what now?? Confused.
Hi everyone, I think I'm being a bit dim here but I have to ask ...what is difference between Glandulars and NDT? I know M is a glandular.... But then what? What does that actually mean re. treating hypothyroidism, I still don't understand the difference despite my Googling. 😐 Also, why all the

GUIDANCE trial
Hi All, I'm about to start treatment with SBRT in about 3 weeks after getting SpaceOAR placed, and I've been enrolled in the GUIDANCE trial designed to attempt vessel sparing and avoid nerve bundles. I'm in the low Decipher score group (0.34), but there is still a 50% chance that I'll have to do ADT

Would you have NODAL RT in 5 fractions?
Prostate SBRT in 5 fractions has now been adopted as standard of care for all risk levels of PCa. But doctors are now turning their eyes to nodal radiation (Whole Pelvis RT - WPRT) in 5 fractions as well. I am having HDR Brachy boost therapy with follow up node radiation starting next week at

PSA rise but scans are clear. Appetite and activity level are 0
I have spoken on here a few times about my dad who is on Erleada + ADT but it has failed. They have done quite a few scans recently because he is in significant pain. But all scans have come back “clear” in that there is no significant change in metastasis etc. we are at a point now where he barely

QOL Post- Thank you KALIBER!
I was chatting with Kali several months ago after I was considering selling the scooter, fearing the loss of strength due to ADT would be an issue picking this 800+ lb machine back up if I ever lost my footing at a stoplight or something... I bought this brand new in 1982 when I was 27 yrs old. Kali

Catabolic Wasting, Cachexia and Sarcopenia - Life Extension Foundation, Section Update: 03/2021
As most men with PCa are oldER and may be on some form of testosterone-blocking treatment, like ADT, odds are they are also struggling with the muscle-wasting and weight issues that comes with both oldER age and loss of T. This article from LEF is a very comprehensive overview of both Cachexia and Sarcopenia
