I had 7=4+3 prostate cancer PSA=5.4 with a Gleason of 0.7. MRI showed the tumor had not compromised the wall of the prostate. It was an aggressive cancer genetically and was at stage three. Bad news but apparently ample margin for victory. I had ADT from 7/22 till 12/22 and received Proton beam therapy for 44 sessions from 12/22 till 2/23. After 6 months I tested PSA=0.45. Is this common in the greater population for approximately equivalent patients? Also the prostate still functions which is stunning considering all the radiation. My doctors are happy so I am too.

Thanks a lot. Killing cancer is hard work. You need will, courage and swagger and of course a great oncology team. My first cancer was kidney so when I got another I took it personally and was determined to beat it to death. Victory is a sweet thing and I wish everyone theirs.
When you're finished with your Ca.......I'll give you my ex-wife's home address......
