Epithelial Haemangiendothelioma - has anyone else been diagnosed with this rare cancer please?
A thickened endometrium (possibly due to taking
Tamoxifen
since April 16) and ‘numerous indeterminate nodules in both lungs’. I had thoracic surgery early December 2023 to take biopsies of a couple of lung nodules.

Hi! I'm new and excited to meet others and learn about your journey
Went on
tamoxifen
for 2 years, then quit because it made me feel miserable. No chemo. In 2022, I was once again diagnosed with breast cancer, but this time metastatic. What a shock! It spread to my lymph nodes and lungs.

tamoxifen and thyroxine
if you started
tamoxifen
, how much did thyroid bloods/ dose need to change? I know
tamoxifen
causes fatigue and foggineess but also wondering if it’s thyroid too as I know it can interfere with things. I do have a blood tests in a couple of weeks.

Verzenio Monotherapy
, faslodex,
tamoxifen
and xeloda to name a few. This Verzenio is my latest. The side effects have been rough but I'm sticking with it in hopes of getting even more time. I haven't run across more than one person on this treatment and wonder if I could find anyone else to talk about it with.

I have questions about Tamoxifen, aka Hormonal Therapy
My 2nd opinion Oncologist
Four Options
: 1) Do nothing, take a break...Which I am going to do for 2 months at least. 2) Do a biopsy, but currently I show no signs of recurrence. 3) Do Chemotherapy 4) Do Hormonal Therapy, aka
Tamoxifen
.

Did 18 mo of
Tamoxifen
and switched to Anastrozole due to liver changes and had gallbladder removed. I’m 4 1/3 yrs out from diagnosis. My tumor was aggressive so chemo helped reduce recurrence rate in first few year.

Radiation treatment for gynecomastia? Anyone?
(I know that
tamoxifen
is also used to combat gynecomastia but I am worried about side effects of that oral medication - - on top of side effects I already get from ADT medication.). Thanks much for any input.

Advice needed IVF
They put him on Clomid,
Tamoxifen
and Pregynl. My testing came back "normal". AMH is 1.66 and an AFC of 16. Doctor gave us a 90% chance of the first round working because "you have the easiest problem to fix with IVF". Looking back, I was stupid to believe this.

A maternal brain hormone that builds bone - Nature - Published: 10 July 2024
Except for
tamoxifen
in postmenopausal women, endocrine therapy has pronounced negative effects on bone health, although their positive effects on survival warrant their routine use.

It is such a new drug so unlike
Tamoxifen
, where the results of being on the drug for 5 years are so long lasting, I don't think they have the data yet on long term effectviness of 3 years on Tagrisso.

Update: PSA after IMRT
My breasts had not only gotten enlarged but they had also become quite painful, and the
Tamoxifen
my RO had put me on did not help with this. He then ordered an early PSA test, and when it came back at just .12, he was okay with my getting off the bicalutamide.

The other prescribed
Tamoxifen
. Arimadex caused a lot of joint pain, cramps horrible I am told. In Australia if progression CDK4/6 inhibitors are no longer funded so trial after ‘holiday’ is not funded . Has anyone had success after a break or another CDK4/6 inhibitor ?

Testing if Aromatise inhibitors work for you- you might be able to stop taking them
It was a test to see if
Tamoxifen
or any of the aromatase inhibitors work are helpful to take for my breast cancer. I would need to look up my exact diagnosis as I can’t remember exactly. I know it was hormone receptive invasive ductal stage 2.
