I am 69 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2015. I had 6 rounds of chemo followed by a hysterectomy. Thacancerreturned in 2016 and I was given a course of the drug Tamoxifen followed by another course of Letrozole . Neither worked so I was given chemo again. I finished that in Feb 2017

Meds change
Hi everyone, Hope you are all having an enjoyable bank holiday Monday. I have now had 5 weeks off the meds, and my Oncologist has changed them for Tamoxifen, due to the severe side effects from the Zoladex and Letrozole. I am under no illusions that there won't be any side effects with Tamoxifen, I

He said I have to see him again in six weeks and he will see what my blood results say and then put me in for ct scan.. I feel so depressed, he asked if we had

Concerned about pains
Hi, I finished chemo in December, was ned for two months. At the end of March my oncologist put me on tamoxifen tablets as my ca125 had slightly risen from seven to nineteen. I had bloods taken yesterday and see oncologist next Friday. I have been having a few stinging pains now and then, not there all

Genie bras Anti depressants
Morning all I hope we're all in the pink at the moment? I gave a couple of questions if I could ask for shared experience please? I'm looking at getting genie bra/s for during radiation as I want to be prepared for my skin getting sore - even tho I don't know how it will react yet! 🙄 - and I can't see

Tamoxifen and Prozac - a review
If I remember correctly a few months ago there was a discussion regarding Prozac and tamoxifen not working together, as I'm on both, I think at the time I tried to find out if it was worth changing one or the other, at the time it was a case of stay as I am. Forward wind to an hour ago, phone call

New Oncologist
My oncologist died unexpectedly and therefore I am now seeking a new oncologist. I have been assigned a new oncologist that took over the practice of my oncologist. I had a visit with him and it went as well as could be expected; however, I have an appointment with a different oncologist at Magee Women's

Feeling Low
Had my check up Wednesday with my oncologist - he has taken me off Letrozole and the Zoladex injection for a month as I have really been struggling with the side effects - he said that my quality of life was more important than the 2% it gave me for prevention of reoccurrence. Once my body has adjusted

Good afternoon ladies, I was diagnosed with estrogen positive DCIS in September, had a lumpectomy in October and completed radiation in February. I had an appointment today with my oncologist to discuss estrogen blocking medications. I was expecting her to recommend an aromatase inhibitor and was surprised
