Metoprolol lowering hr?
I have severe anixety that has caused me to have really bad heart palpitations and I've even had a run of atrial
tachycardia
show up on my Holter monitor report. Cardiologist put me on metoprolol 25mg.xl. I was going to split them in half at first but even now that's freaking me out.

Help!! Update on the update...!!
Apparently it is 'very complicated in there' with multiple firing points for my AF and
tachycardia
. They gave up chasing them in the end! She also said that they think I have a lot of 'fibrosis' in both atria which could be the cause of my arrhythmias. I feel a bit shell shocked to be honest.

Atrial ectopics now tachycardia
For some year’s suffered from atrial ectopics checked out by cardiologist said not a problem don’t worry about it. 3 days ago Kardia result suggested
tachycardia
without AF. Still getting results night and day of beats 125 to 130 p minute. BP normal, no pain etc.

Atrial ectopics now tachycardia-update
Thanks for all the replies received. Despite advice from GP, saw consultant cardiologist today. Seems fast heartbeat regardless of advice to monitor unless pain or breathlessness should need greater investigation. Fast heartbeat but with normal BP may mean blockage so angiogram planned, echocardiogram

Nervous and scared about this whole AF thing
Sometimes I have a horrible time trying to sleep because I think I’m feeling ectopics or something that’s going to turn into a run of irregular heartbeats or
tachycardia
or a fish flopping around in my chest. I’m a mess. I try to meditate and do deep breathing but that really hasn’t helped.

Anxiety and instances of
tachycardia
. History of minor illnesses/viruses since late 2019. Basic overview - 2 growths on thyroid. Imaging and cytology showed no concerning features. Initially told 1 cyst, 1 nodule and lobectomy likely for cyst.

Has anyone been successful securing Life and Critical Illness Cover when you have a heart condition?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with Long QT in 2007 but in recent weeks this diagnosis looks to be amended to Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular
Tachycardia
(CPVT). We bought our first home in 2018 but I have had a lot of trouble finding any type of cover other than Accidental.

tachycardia
18 months ago after an immunosuppressant treatment . A GP put me on a beta blocker. A month later another GP took me off the beta blocker and I got bad withdrawal symptoms- palpitations, high heart rate etc.

Palpitations after ablation and Atrial tachycardia question. Need suggestions!!
I am getting lots of palpitations and
tachycardia
runs after ablation which was not there before. Is it something normal or needs to be addressed? I would also like to take opinion from members if it’s worth trying for 2nd ablation for AT. Any help is highly appreciated.

Atrial Flutter and Cardioversion
I've had ectopic atrial beats before as well as sinus
tachycardia
. Because my HR wasn't particularly high I assumed I was having a bad bout of ectopics. But unusually for me I felt very fatigued and started to struggle at work and when walking my dogs.

Tachycardia mystery?
I have this unexplained
tachycardia
which is under investigation by a cardiologist just wondering if there's any ideas anyone has to what MAY be causing this as I fear I'm reaching a brick wall.

Palpitations and Bisoprolol
I have had 10 episodes of
tachycardia
since taking the Bisoprolol. I cannot sleep, as it is so uncomfortable, like my heart is being squashed and it becomes very erratic. I have had 2 hours broken sleep for the last 3 nights and I’m exhausted.

Help!!
Since then I've been fairly settled until about a month ago when I had a week or so of going into AF and
tachycardia
but which settled spontaneously with no need for cardioversion (a first for me this year!). So I've come to the top of the WL and here I am.

Does anyone have a real issue coping?
So I’ve been having some issues with NSVT (not SVT- thats atrial this is ventricle) I have also had issues with atrial
tachycardia
, excessive PACS so much so the loop recorder read it as AFIB, PVCs and inappropriate sinus
tachycardia
.

EP Check Up Today ...
My heart is doing well, although it does go a bit crazy (mainly
tachycardia
) when I’m sick or in pain. He said he believes I cope well with work and life stress (I think that too) but my heart doesn’t cope with physical stress.
