Mirena coil: allergic reaction
Wanted to post on here to make people aware that despite the low incident rate of 1 in 100 patients having an allergic reaction to the Mirena IUS, it does happen. I had just had one! Here's a quick description of me & my symptoms so people can note what an allergic reaction to Mirena hormonal coil looks

PIP assessment today
The evidence I gave was a printout of my patient records from my GP's online system, which show ad nauseum my repeat prescriptions, plus the entry about
systemic
sclerosis
and various basic blood tests, BMI, BP, a rheumy letter and explanation that there seem no meds suitable for the Secondary Raynaud's

Raynauds attacks
I have secondary raynauds due to
systemic
sclerosis
and was wondering what constitutes an attack? I used to get complete and very obvious colour changes, however with better core warmth and nifipene the changes are more subtle but seem to last much longer.

Systemic sclerosis and secondary raynauds and sun
I was diagnosed with
systemic
sclerosis
and secondary raynauds Christmas time and am very lucky as my husband booked a few days away in the warmer climate for me. (It's snowing at home right now!) The question is should I (Do you guys) burn easier in the sun?

Skin Question
I have read that people with
systemic
sclerosis
should avoid hot baths.... why is this ? I’ve read a lot to avoid it but can’t find a reason why? Obviously I know the consequences of cold water but hot water ? I know my skin comes out in a horrendous rash after a hot bath x

Trying to interpret blood results? Can any of you wonderful people help.
I’ve requested my most recent blood test results which gave me a Limited
Systemic
Sclerosis
diagnosis. One thing that strikes me is the Anti dsDNA Antibodies result, my Rheumatologist has NEVER mentioned this? I’ll post a photo, if anyone is good at interpreting them, that would be great.

Scars in systemic sclerosis
Hi all. I have had scars on my forearms which look like little burns. They have been there a couple of years, however some of the scars on my right arm seem to be disappearing. Is this normal? Thanks in advance
