Systemic sclerosis

I just wanted to say that anything is achievable if you prepared to work towards it. Yes it's hard, some days are so tough I just wanted to cry, i hurt, i ached, i lost believe, i forgot why wanted to do it, i lost focus but...... on Sunday I competed London Marathon.... Yup all 26.2 miles. I walked for a mile between 16 and 17 and again between 22 and 23 but I finished and got my medal in 7 hours 26 mins (yes I know it's slow) ! I am amazed at myself and stunned into silence by the unwavering support of my husband. Take that systemic sclerosis.... as you were people !!

Thank you so much. I won't lie and say it was easy but the day was amazing and will stay with me forever. The day was easier than the months of training, but so worth the tears, pain, aches, muscle fatigue, sleepless nights!
