4 days after debulking surgery
hi all, Mum had her debulking
surgery
on Thursday evening and it was very successful. Full removal of ovaries, uterus, omentun, appendix etc. However she is really really struggling with pain as they think the bowel has gone to sleep. This also means she’s not really slept.

Sonitus soundbite
Hi all, Has anyone had any experience of using the Soundbite device to address hearing loss in one ear after acoustic neuroma
surgery
? Just looking at options as I'm struggling a bit, so it would be good to hear of others experience.

I had questions about 4 months ago about pain after hip
surgery
. I received many helpful answers. However, the pain continues which I am told (by the surgeon) because of inflammation and nerve irritation. Also, my RLS has increased dramatically which is probably due to inflammation.

I was just wondering how others got along after their
surgery
. And if you can believe it my surgeon said it would be great if you could stop them for 2 weeks for healing process. I just laughed. Thanks very much x

4 open heart surgery’s
Another 7 years passed by and thankfully I had my beautiful daughter in that time I came to the decision to get the mechanical valve back in but this time around the
surgery
didn’t go to plan as I needed to get my heart restarted after the
surgery
and needed a pace maker fitted.

Nephrectomy with AKI & Dehydration
I went in with creatinine of 1.47 and after
surgery
it went as high as 2.4. Nephrologist thought something happened during
surgery
to cause the AKI. He also said I was dehydrated and had me drinking about 3 liters with 1 sports drink for electrolytes.

Currently stage four metastatic castrate resistant with multiple failures from robotic
surgery
to proton, SBRT, eclipse trial, Orgovyx, Provenge, and finally one recent SBRT to hit five spots from my upper spine, ribs and hip. My PSA is still low. but starting to go up from 1.2 to currently 2.5.

I know things have changed, just curious
I subsequently had
surgery
and they found the cancer was contained and I was downgraded to 4+3 = 7. I then went six years until I needed SRT, and have now gone 6 more years and my PSA is easing upwards again.

blood test results
He had a gp blood test a while ago and as his TSH was low one of the Drs in our
surgery
got very annoyed because he didn’t want to reduce his medication. I suggested a Medichecks test and these are the results. I don’t understand the high T4 alongside the lowish T3.
