Child with inherited heart condition
He wore the heart monitor for 24 hours and also did the
stress
test on a treadmill at the hospital. He is now 13. My issue is that I am a constant nervous wreck. I worry about him all the time. I just don't know how to stop. I'm constantly worrying that something has progressed and we don't know.

Exertion triggering flutter condition - ablation, or no
If I stop the exercise the flutter continues for up to 5 minutes, then normality returns I believe this is an adrenaline trigger, it has not happened in other daily scenarios like sleep work, walking,
stress
or whatever. I have been scheduled for an ablation
but have cold feet
.

Is this a flare? And this headache.....?
The medical people are saying
stress
. That was true for the first couple of months, but I have been meditating 2x daily, Qi Gong and living peacefully. Anyone have any thoughts or experience? I have searched but not found anything similair to my situation. Thank you , this group is a Blessing

Ablation dilemma
I have just been given a note from my GP to request reduced hours at work due to
stress
and exhaustion trying to care for my 95 year old mum who has cognitive decline and has turned nasty to me.

Strokes how do i cope caring for my loved one.
I new how anxious and stressed he had become before he had the first serious illness. so we embarked on some very big lifestyle changes, which we hoped would elevate any
stress
suddenly like a bomb going off the changes had a huge impact on his health.

If I can’t do my job without meds, should I find another job?
Also, some of my issues likely stem from using medication as my main tool and failing to focus on other things that make my ADHD better or worse, like sleep, exercise, good diet, environment,
stress
management, etc. I know this is also an issue.

More curious ponderings - hypochlorhydria
Add to that alcohol consumed with food on fairly regular occasions (often as a means to manage
stress
). Please excuse my ignorance but could low stomach acid from
stress
and inadequate diet be the final cause of B12 deficiency?

I've been failed
I know that there are a lot of
stress
put on NHS workers especially in recent years, but people are dying because of medical negligence and its only becoming bigger of an issue overtime.

Transplant delays
I have a living donor who is willing to save my life and this process is absolutely producing more
stress
than it should. On top of this, my step daughter, who is a PT, has volunteered her time to help me for the after-surgery timeframe and needs to let her practice know about timing.

Coming off the Mirena coil and Pregabalin to try for a baby - advice
I start a doctoral training programme in September to become a Clinical Psychologist with the NHS - I can’t wait, but I’m aware it could bring
stress
in its own ways and that I need to be careful about how I look after myself. This coincides with when we’re planning to start trying, too.

SLE diagnosis, potential PTSD
I was diagnosed SLE last year. Recovery and getting on meds was going pretty well, returning to work etc. more recently I’ve returned to counselling due to a decline in my mental health. After about a month of sessions my counsellor started mentioning PTSD and has asked me to fill in an assessment,

Hello everyone
You can do this in the way that is best for you but I wanted to keep it realistic to not create
stress
like telling myself unrealistic expectations in a timeframe that I could feel was ok. I'm far from ok but I'm ok for now. I put into words my thoughts this morning about wanting to find peace.

What is ‘fawning’ - the lesser known of the 4 F's? How is it related to trauma, PTSD and the ‘fight or flight’ response?
You have probably heard of “fight or flight” responses to distressing situations. You may also be familiar with the tendency to “freeze”. But there is another defence or survival strategy a person can have: “fawn”. From https://theconversation.com/what-is-fawning-how-is-it-related-to-trauma-and-the-fight-or-flight-response

Is thyroid my main issue?
I notice I am not able to tolerate
stress
especially emotional. I don't like being around stressy people either. I know adrenal fatigue is not an NHS diagnosis but perhaps it is my main problem after a year in a job with management I can't see eye to eye with.

6 months on.
I just work 3 days a week now in the office, less
stress
and physical exertion. I’m on less money obviously but I can manage and my healths far more important to me and my family. Now the negative points, my depression and anxiety are slowly rising, I can tell and my wife’s also noticed.
