I attach the latest Massachusetts Opioid Register results, showing the medications taken by participants and the doses. Dr Winkelman set up the Register to show that addiction and tolerance are unlikely to happen when low dose opioids are used for RLS. For those who have augmented on dopamine agonists

Haven’t posted for a long time. Some of you may know that after reaching my goal of a 10k continuous run I contracted COVID in September 2022. Diagnosed with Long Covid in December 2022, really struggled to even walk 400 yards but saw an improvement last Summer and got to Week 7 all be it very slowly

I was originally trialing 5 microgram 7 day patches that got me out of that dark tunnel but wasn’t 100% effective so after the initial 3 week trial I wrote to Dr Christopher Murphy explained the situation and he arranged for me to collect 10 microgram 7 day patches from Salford Royal Infirmary. I applied

What is classed as a flare?
Hi, I was diagnosed in November, had a steroid injection and started on MTX, once the steroid started wearing off the pain and swelling in my knees returned straight away but not in my hands, they have been great. Had a load of fluid sucked out of my knee and another steroid injection about 6 weeks ago

it has been quite a while since I have been on this message board, life just happens as we all know with Lupus. Many changes have occurred from multifocal, pneumonia, aspergillus in my lung and tumor in my lung upper right lobe… however, it is benign right now and they’re just going to watch it. I

Covid 19 and thyrotoxicosis
If my memory serves me right, there had been questions in the past about changes in thyroid levels after Covid 19. Today I found this publication, which talks about just that. Having a STEMI in mid 40's...the search for underlying causes / answers for premature CHD.
Hi Everyone, My husband had a major STEMI in March 2023 with a full blockage of his circumflex artery. He was 44 years old and playing 5-a-side football in a local sports centre when he collapsed without warning. Thank goodness it happened there of all places however, as the swift actions of his team
