Covid with FM and returning to work

I have Fibromyalgia and long Covid and want to return to work?

I have been advised by employer I need to do a full week of at least three hours work on pc each day fully concentrating before my work will consider having me back on phased return. They do not want me to do one day then be off again as looks worse on attendance record and this all goes against me, they advised.

This is due to keep having months off work due to sickness three last year and now almost four months since Covid infection this time.

I am struggling as one day can do three hours some days one hour then another day, simply can’t do any due to illness as stuck in bed this is random and has no pattern. Pacing does not seem to work or it does for few days then everything goes out the window, has anyone else had this?

My GP thinks I am in mid recovery that’s only his opinion he said they don’t know and I have been accepted into the NHS Long Covid Clinic they advised there is no quick fix.
