I’d had diarrhoea on and off for a while beforehand though. Also lots of mucus in throat and need to clear often plus occasional pain and

Pending laparoscopy in agony.
Hello. At first I would like to apologize for my English. It will be a long post. It all started about 2 and a half years ago. The first diagnosis is kidney stones. I had ESWL done 3 times and a 24 hour urine sample showed that the kidney stones were cleared. Unfortunately, the pain remained. The next

Questions about SVT and ectopic beats
Hi all, I know this is pretty insignificant after looking at a lot of the posts here but I have a few questions if I may.. I have previously been diagnosed with ectopic heart beats, where on the 24 hr ECG my pulse dropped as low as 33bpm. Removing caffeine from my diet had significantly reduced the

You're okay until you're not
You’re okay until you’re not they say regardless of the trend. After a disappointing PSA last week I spoke with my RO and Uro about the results. I have great respect for the Uro and he knows my concerns well as we have discussed my fluctuating PSA many times. He believes the numbers are just incremental

GP says I'm "normal"
Well, another update to my ongoing saga re the blood tests I posted on here last month. I had blood and urine tests done by my GP and I had to call them for the results 4 weeks later. I spoke this morning with someone I hadn't spoken to before who was obviously just reading my notes of the computer

Adrenal Insufficiency
My regular GP (who acted immediately when I presented myself with GCA symptoms) talked with me yesterday. She thought my symptoms indicated an urinary infection. Today a urine sample came back negative. I said I thought they indicated adrenal insufficiency. She will phone me on Monday. I am 83 year

Carefully look at your lab test results-all depends on the normal range for each lab.
Just in case others may experience what I just did I will give my most recent experience: (when we compare our test result numbers on here remember they may all be wildly different numbers but mean the same thing)": Due to my stage 3 egfr (caused by only one kidney) and renal metastatic cancer, I get

Possible pelvic prolapse
Sorry if this is a long post! Almost 3 weeks ago i was in the supermarket and felt something ‘ping’ lower left back / abdomen, and then a constant thud like pain in my lower back. This has carried on with abdominal period like pain and increased needing to toilet. Urine samples, dip and lab are negative

2021 - The year I was NOT going to hospital.
After multiple hospitalisations each year for the past five years, I decided that this year would be different. And what are we now? Five weeks in? I had a weird thing happen last night when I headed up to bed about midnight. I went to the toilet and started getting pins and needles in both legs, and

When would I start to feel better?
I’m a 23M, not sexually active, don’t smoke or drink. sorry for the long post. Since the end of November I had some right sided testicular pain. For around a week I put ice on it and took paracetamol. I thought this was referred pain from the boils as I’d kept getting on my scrotum. On the 1st of December
