Early miscarriages were hard enough but I don’t think I could handle a
stillbirth
. I noticed that someone people quit their jobs and were told just to rest?

Even more tragically, her third pregnancy ended in

International Prenatal Infection Prevention Month;Facts from Group B Strep Support & Count the Kicks
We would be remiss however if we didn’t point out that GBS is one of a number of bacteria found in the vagina that can cause infection in a baby while still in the womb, which can result in late miscarriage,
stillbirth
or a baby born very poorly indeed.

Pregnancy update
Such a contrast to my two previous miscarriages and twin
stillbirth
. The blood thinners seem to be working. I've had two appointments with a consultant haemotologist who is now listed on the HF website after my recommendation.

Great article - written for Thyroid UK for their quarterly 'Harmony Magazine' by Professor Graham Hughes
Sludging of the placental blood supply leads to poor nutrition of the foetus, to miscarriage and even to late pregnancy loss –
Stillbirth
. Hughes Syndrome is now recognised as the commonest, treatable cause of recurrent miscarriage – some women having suffered a dozen or more miscarriages.

Pregnancy and SLE, Nephritis
The statistics for
stillbirth
, complications for baby and mother, premature birth etc make for such depressing reading. Would really appreciate any comments about your experiences, particularly from those with Lupus Nephritis . Thank you x

Hi lovely ladies! I need your advice on membrane sweeps & induction please - getting anxious!
I have discussed this with my midwife and she's explained that due to my age and the risk for
stillbirth
they want to induce at 40 weeks, which i'm fine about now but did say that i'd prefer it if baby comes naturally.

Hoping for good news
Her baby is at risk from the same condition that caused the
stillbirth
of my daughter a little over sixteen months ago. My sisters didn't want to tell me but I am being positive, the alternative is unthinkable. My husband is a little emotional, we are 16 weeks gone with our second.

HS and surgery: no medication? I'm worried...
In 2008 I was diagnosed with HS (because of a
stillbirth
). I've never had a thrombosis and therefore no medications (only during pregnancy). I should tell the doctor about my HS in case I need an operation. So I did, i've told it to the doctor and anasthesiologist about my HS.

Update; Inductions, stretch marks, waddling and worrying about the OH!!!
I know that the risk of
stillbirth
is higher with gestational diabetes, which does worry me, but trying not to stress. I was told i would be induced a week or two before my due date to reduce this risk, they said it was safer for baby.
