PSA Rising
It has been about 2 years since beam radiation therapy. My PSA had very slowly declined to about 1.8 two months ago. 3 months before that it was 2.1. I just had a PSA test done in preparation for a phone call with my old radiation oncologist as I moved out of state to Philadelphia. When I took my PSA

Hi All, My father has just completed two weeks of radiation and I thought he was handling it very well but today seemed to be a really bad day. It has me a bit shaken up as it seemed to have come out of no where. Wondering if these symptoms are normal and how much worse we can expect this to get. Along

Well, I had my mask making and CT scan last Monday, MRI the previous week (no results yet), and I have my Lorazepam in hand ready to start 5 weeks of radiotherapy on 9th Jan, so I'm now ready to enjoy Christmas and the New Year's Eve party. May I wish all my fellow ANers a very Merry Christmas and

Small Cell Lung Cancer and the Brain
Dr. Sahgal gives a wealth of information about brain radiation in this video presentation from the LiveLung small cell lung cancer virtual group (www.livelung.org/smallcell). His discussion of prophylactic brain irradiation (PCI) and stereotactic brain radiation has helped many of us better understand

My father is 87. He has had advanced prostate cancer for 15 years. He did many treatments and then stopped because the cancer spread anyways. Now, he's doing a new treatment and is VERY positive that it will slow the spread. He is going to Florida with my mom for 3 months (he'll fly back to do

Pubic/Pelvic area swelling
Hi, I have post-endometrial-cancer Lymphodema in my right leg and pubic/pelvic areas. I can just about manage the leg with compression garments, self massage, exercise and diet, but the lower belly area underneath where I had radio therapy seems impossible to manage. Nothing I do seems to help it. I

worry about the future with stage 4 cancer and RLS and ILMD
I have been following this website for about nine months and wanting to give up Ropinerole but have put off doing it as I have been undergoing treatment for cancer I.e. surgery and radiotherapy. I thought once that was over I would be able to get an appointment with a London clinic to support me through
