She has had a horrendous cough now for nine weeks and had numerous courses of anti biotics, which cannot be great. She is currently taken her third course of cotrimoxazole, which have not done much. Biochemical vs. Clinical Failure
Can someone please explain to me, in language a non-scientific person can understand, the difference between biochemical failure and clinical failure? When I asked my doctor, after radiation treatment, what to expect in the future, he said "there's a 20% chance of biochemical failure but don't worry

Radiotherapy Experience?
Hi, I had a craniotomy and resection of petroclival meningioma in May 2022 but as attached to brain stem it can’t be fully removed. Due to minor growth and change of shape I am having radiotherapy starting on 22nd for 6 weeks, Monday - Friday, what has been other peoples experience? They say possible

Husband recently diagnosed with cirrhosis
Hi I'm new to this site. My husband has just been diagnosed with cirrhosis. We were just getting over the shock of him having lymphoma. He's just came through 3wks of radiotherapy and is doing good but we have both been left devastated with this new diagnosis. We were in shock when told and therefore

Updates to de novo metastatic prostate cancer treatment
Q. Is the current standard of care has changed in just one year? Docetaxel may now be considered in low volume and de novo disease together with an AR pathway inhibitor and radiation therapy indications should be extended not only to low volume but also to high-volume de novo disease? A. Yes, there

radiation treatments led to perforated colon?
St. Patrick’s Day I collapsed in pain and was rushed to ER. A CT ABD PE revealed a perforated colon near my rectum, broad internal infection (sepsis) with kidneys and liver shutting down. A life flight, three surgeries later, 3 weeks sedated and immobile in an ICU, and seven weeks in hospital rehabs
