She has been able to get off of Metformin for her diabetes, off of Lisinopril for her high blood pressure and she was able to avoid
statins
which her doctor wanted to put her on. Yes, she is quite happy now and said she can clearly see the improvement in her memory!

I now take various medications including very powerful
statins
, clopidogrel , bisoprolol, and ranolazine.. The result is tiredness, and inability to walk gradients and stairs without gasping for air, although on the flat I am not too bad at all.

Baracitinib & Statins
Hi all, Has anyone here had to go on
statins
for high Cholestrol due to taking Baracitinib? I’ve just had a call from Rhumatology telling me my cholesterol is raised and they want me to stop Baracitinib for 3weeks then have bloods done to check if it’s the meds causing it and not me.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else might be having problems with
Statins
? I'm currently taking 1x 10mg of Rosuvastatin a day and I have the feeling that it's making me ill. I wake up most morning shaking inside and my anxiety is now kicking in. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

Not the news I wanted
from the surgery; in a rather too enthusiastic voice (I thought) I was told ‘you are officially diabetic......‘ ‘Your previous result was 48 and your last one was 52 - I’m putting that down as steroid-induced and prescribing you 2000mg of Metformin a day’ Well - after disabusing me of the notion that

I tried
statins
but I had lots of unpleasant side effects so I stopped taking them. My Gp advised me to try Niacin 500 mg a day. I have been taking them for 5 weeks now but I feel unwell. Dizzy, unstable, weak and spaced out. I wonder if anyone had similar experiences . Thank you

Feeling so scared
I am allergic to 4
statins
so they have put me on Ezetimibe to start tomorrow. The aspirin is affecting my stomach as on clot busters and heparin as well. I feel like giving up. Everyone else sounds like they are doing so well and feel great.
