Update on Ejection Fraction
Update Just got a copy of the letter to my GP The Right Coronary Territory is Non Viable and he would therefore not benefit from PCI to the native RCA and I have explained the situation to him. ( which he did ) He does have Disease in his LAD which goes on to supply a large septal and diagonal territory

Water retention
I take 20 mg a day of Frusemide for fluid retention to be increased to 40 mg for 4 days if I am suffering badly. However, I find this extra dose doesn’t help a lot and when I start to really fill up with fluid, I usually suffer an Afib episode. Does anyone else suffer from this problem? Di

Spironolactone - Acute Kidney Damage.
Hi everyone, first post here. I was recently diagnosed with Cirrhosis after being admitted to hospital with Alcholic Hepatitis. Further tests showed several grade 1 oesophogal varices, enlarged spleen and a gunked up gallbladder. The hospital were great. I was in for 2 weeks while they sorted me out

New post from a New Member, Any Advice Please?
Hi, just been diagnosed in the last few weeks with liver cirrhosis. Long story, but caught food poisoning on a diving holiday and it refused to clear up. After about 6 weeks the doctor did a blood test and initially thought I had liver cancer. Went into hospital and they couldn’t find any evidence

As cites again
I have battled with ascites since diagnosis and was controlling with spirolactone and furosemide. However one doctor will take me off em because of kidney damage the next one along will put me back on them. If I don’t take spirolactone I fill with fluid within the week and need draining which is a pain

Hello everyone :) I just joined this group and I am hoping to get some advice, whether medical or experiences people have had, etc. A lot of background, but may help: 10+ years ago, at an estimate, diagnosed with PCOS. When puberty started and I began to get PCOS symptoms it was ultimately dismissed

Hi, I'm new to this...
Hello all, bit of a long story! My husband had a pacemaker fitted beginning of November, had to have the procedure twice as one of the leads had become detached. As a result the consultant stopped his diuretics for a few days because of possible upset to his kidneys. As a result he ended up with fluid
