Water retention

I take 20 mg a day of Frusemide for fluid retention to be increased to 40 mg for 4 days if I am suffering badly. However, I find this extra dose doesn’t help a lot and when I start to really fill up with fluid, I usually suffer an Afib episode.

Does anyone else suffer from this problem?

One should only take potassium under a doctor's supervision. Too much can be as bad as too little, and can prove fatal. Eating a banana or two seems to be a good way to increase one's intake safely.

All under supervision and have regular blood tests doc said I would have to eat a truck load of bananas
