Cor, fame at last as the Dolly Mixture man!

Joking apart I take omeprazole, lisinopril, atorvastatin and indapamide before breakfast. Aspirin and Vitamin C come after. The Vitamin C is unprescribed but with my GP's and cardiac team's knowledge. There is evidence it prevents inflammation of the arteries which cause the body to deposit cholesterol and narrow arteries to repair the damage.

Interesting, I freely admit on a work day I lump them all together, aside from the statin which I take in the evening, thats around 5 am. I take Candesartan, Aspirin, Bisoprolol, Atorvastatin and another whose name I have forgotten, lowers my blood pressure. A few other vitamins alongside

Thinking maybe i should RTFM as my wife says (read the something manual)

I was told to have the aspirin AFTER eating breakfast. Never on an empty stomach. Clare

mmm, yea, taking aspirin after breakfast, that ain't ever going to happen! I don't take lanzoprazole to protect my stomach either. I'm clearly living on the edge ..... :-)

I'm supposed to take my aspirin in the morning too, but i take mine after lunch to lighten the load - btw always better not to take it (or ticagrelor) on an empty stomach. I also confess to not taking all my medicines together at the same time as I personally am uneasy about mixing so many chemicals together at same moment. So its a bit of a chore but i space them apart a bit whilst respecting the periods between multiple doses per day. My statin is atorvastatin but I still take it at bedtime even though its effectiveness is longer than the other statins.
