Very itchy rash
Woke up this morning with a very itchy rash on my shoulders which is spreading across my body. This is a common side effect of Furosemide, and should be notified immediately. Its Saturday so no one with any knowledge of HF works or can be contacted. Anyone know what I could put on it until Monday?

Issues with Furosemide.
Hi just an update from an earlier post. I thought I was having side effects a couple of weeks ago. I continued to have them an then began to get very dehydrated and began to get more palpitations than usual. It was as someone on here suspected my potassium levels were low. Taken off the water pills

PCOS and depression
Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago, and have since had a diagnosis of depression. I receive treatment for my depression, and I've previously had Metformin and spironolactone, neither of which helped me. The specialist has said there's nothing else they can do for me, and have discharged me

Furosemide side effects.
Hi I have been on Furosemide since I was admitted with endocarditis at the end of July. I also have a leaky aortic valve. When I was in hospital for 7 weeks I have had issues with some of my joints and muscles mainly due to wastage. I would have expected the joint issues to have got better but they

Hi all, new here but wanted to ask a question. I am 48 I have stage 3 congestive heart failure and I take 80mg of Lasix a day plus 25 mg of spironolactone. These are both diuretics. My blood work showed that my GFR has dropped 20 points in less than 2 months. I was at 104 now less then 2 months later

medication problems
I am a newbie who recently left hospital having been diagnosed with heart failure with the usual selection of meds, most of which caused problems for me of extremely low blood pressure. I have never suffered with high blood pressure, yet 3 of them were intended to lower it. My blood is nice and runny

Breathless, painful joints, no energy
After a heart attack and 2 stents I was given loads of tablets but apart from problems with Atorvastatin ( now changed to simvastatin) and brief bouts of breathlessness from ticagrelor, I felt fine. For the last week the breathlessness has got much worse, I've developed bad pain in my hips and I'm just

Anything I can do at home to reduce hair?
So I've been going untreated for a while now, since November. The gynes I saw over the summer prescribed Microgynon which is hands down the worst pill ever for PCOS so I refuse to take it because I went suicidal for *no reason* after ten days, and it's been known to make hirsutism happen in normal females
