Itchy skin
I’m on edoxiban, Entresto, Carvedilol, allopurinol, digoxin and dapaglifozin everyday, with furosemide at my discretion. Anyone experience night time itching with any of these? As soon as I scratch it pops up somewhere else. 🤔

Ibrance and hair ideas
Hi ladies, Hope you're feeling fine with brighter longer days coming. I've read several post about hair loss and hair thinning with Ibrance. I must say I loose a lot of hair every day and huge quantities when I wash it. I still have some hair but it really looks sad. I tie it back to forget about it

Advice of taking Furosemide please.
I have to take Furosemide,40mg. per day. For some reason this has suddenly become a problem. Please, has anyone a plan as how best to take this necessary medication and yet be able to leave the house . I find it takes about 5 or 6 hours before I am “safe” . Many thanks.

Can left ventricle ejection fraction improve
I have left ventricle hear failure. I feel so weak with no apetite. Absolute exhaustion when climbing stairs. The meds prescribed are Candersartan and Carvedilol (3.125mg). Furosemide aswell for the water retention ie swelling in legs and feet. Can the ejection fraction improve with time maybe with

Good news for those suffering from heart failure, you CAN recover, I DID, thanks God.
First sorry for long post but it could be really helpful to those with heart failure. Nov 2019 ejection fraction at 15% , Mitral valve regurgitations (means not even pumping the 15% out correctly!), Got steadily worse, movement severely restricted, 80-year-old man fitter than me..and i was very fit

Losartan and angioedema
Hi, am a 74 year old woman with heart failure. Was originally on perindopril, bisoprolol and spironolactone. Over a year ago perindopril was swapped for losartan 25mgs due to persistent lip swelling. Still had over 30 episodes of lip and tongue swelling since. This March it got worse with 2 episodes

Carvedilol
I have cirrhosis and the ongoing stuff with it. I was on Omeprazole and Spironolactone. Told I was on it for life. No problem. But after a recent gastroscopy I was put on Carvedilol. I had dreadful side effects. Plummeting blood pressure and no appetite. I have barely eaten for over a week. I have spoken

Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction - heart not filling adequately due to stiffness (caused by strain due to congenital defect)
Hi everyone, I had a bicuspid aortic valve that was diagnosed and replaced 2 years ago at age 44 when I got endocarditis. The valve replacement was supposed to be the solution to all my problems (which had been misdiagnosed until then as mental health issues). I was put on furosemide and bisporolol

Heart Failure
A short background: I had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve repair 18 months ago. I made a good recovery however at the 6 month follow up I was told that the repair wasn’t 100% and I still had a slight leak. Since last September I’ve been getting more breathless again so I saw GP who did tests and then

How much can anti-hypertensives affect GFR?
How much can medication affect a GFR? 62 yr old female, resistant hypertension since aged 18. Take ARBs, epleronone, bisoprolol, furosemide, amlodipine, amiloride. BP fantastically well controlled now for past 16 years. It was under medicated for years by my GP who said it was only white coat hypertension

Loss of apetite - Low EV (Ejection Fraction)
Since I have been diagnosed with an EV of 25% four months back the lower abdomen area feels so delicate. There is little apetite. Furosemide sometimes does assist even though I have no visible swelling in the legs or abdomen. I have tried beta blockers but cannot tolerate them. Heart rate has been 56

Day 21 Hubby update - looks like he might be heading back to square one
Sorry but this is going to be a long one, as I need your support today, I think it is all getting to me and you guys are always telling me to look after myself as well. He has been drinking heavily again the last two days, from having just 2 or 3 cans of cider a day, he had 6 on Friday and 8 yesterday
