Itchy skin

I’m on edoxiban, Entresto, Carvedilol, allopurinol, digoxin and dapaglifozin everyday, with furosemide at my discretion.

Anyone experience night time itching with any of these? As soon as I scratch it pops up somewhere else. 🤔

I cannot help you as my Frusemide does not seem to cause it, but I have noticed how terribly dry my skin is!

Hi, I take furosemide 20 mg four times weekly and I have been taking this for about 13 years and other brands of diuretics for 30 years before that and none have caused me any problem. I have to take about 22 damned pills daily and none of them caused itching. However I have multiple allergies that I class as minor because they do not stop me doing anything, they include dust mites, mold, and various plants including borage. The effect is awful bouts of itching and or sinus and breathing problems.

I also find my skin becoming dryer with age (I'm 78) so when I get an itch I first resort to a good and frequent application of moisturiser and very rarely need to resort to creams with hydrocortisone.

Good luck with your itches and don't forget to check with your GP.

Cheers Carole

Is edoxiban an anticoagulant? I took apixaban and rivaroxiban at different times and both made me itch tertibly. I refuse to take an anticoagulant now.
