The diagnosis frustration continues....

Had another follow up with the ruumy today and she said the biopsy was negagtive, not surprised!

So we are no further ahead...she was firmer in suggesting that I do not have GCA, she suggested spinal stenosis or atherosclerosis may be causing the issues with legs and fatigue. So perhaps we have been chasing something that is not there.

There is another scan scheduled but not until May 20th to look for the above...no sense of urgency here.😠

We will be tapering down the steroids to see if we get a reaction to see if GCA symptoms return I guess, since the only real symptom I had initially was blurred and double vision with leg and arm pain I am not crazy about playing Russian roulette with my eyesight...I am going to be very cautious with this taper.

I have an appointment next week with the family doctor to talk about the atherosclerosis or PAD.
