lumbar decompression surgery experiences

My husband may need lumbar decompression surgery. Dr is recommending platelet replacement therapy and water therapy first. This is due to spinal stenosis and leg and back pain. Does anyone have experience with this

no platelet problem. Some kind of stem cell type infusion. We are going to try other doctors
