Probiotics for Parkinson's disease: Current evidence and future directions 2020
So... I'm taking lactobacillus casei Shirota, which is both the probiotic used in the PD study that showed it helped with bowel movements and is also anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal. It has been shown to reduce the EBV titers in your system too. If you think PD is autoimmune

Are we going to hear back from the Georgetown University researchers?. Will there be a PHASE 3 TRIAL?
From what I'm hearing GU will not be going forward. They did find evidence of a vascular disorder that may be the root cause. Would hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) with Tasigna be worth a look?

Sulforaphane, NAC, H2O2, and the Circadian Rhythm
I have no answers. Just questions. Questions about Sulforaphane, NAC, and their effects on the Circadian Rhythm.I recently stopped taking my Broccoli Sprout Tea as it boosts NRF2, and boosting NRF2 may amplify the Circadian Rhythm, but if you want to amplify the Circadian Rhythm you probably want to

Buprenorphine/ Subutex,, Temgesic,CBD, THC , Traumeel injections
Research shows people who take traumeel orally prior and during
spinal
Fusion
have a 50 percent faster recovery. Traumeel has been used in some countries on humans for 60 years. My first traumeel injection I would fly to NYC twice yearly for 0 days and have 3 injection during that 10 days.

Thank you for being here for me!
I’m still trying to wrap my head around my current situation, so please forgive me if I’ll repeat what was discussed in my previous posts. Just to reiterate: in September my 6-month PET scan showed stable disease. 10 days later, the routine spine MRI indicated new spinal cord edema from T3-T4 to T9

SURGERY?
I am facing a full
spinal
fusion
mainly due to double Scoliosis with Cobb angles of 38.4 degrees. I had a C2 through T4 fusion in Dec. 2014. Due to the Scoliosis, I am having significantly more general pain, especially in my neck and Sciatica in my right leg hip joint ("electric shocks").

Enlarged dilated pupils
Had a very scary episode yesterday two hours after taking my meds (1/2 senemit and eighth of tsp 99% mucuna) Started with blurred vision like there was grey smoke in the room. My pupils dilated so large as if I was a junkie. This lasted for about 4 hrs. Felt otherwise normal (apart from freaking out

Neurologic vs physical symptoms of PD

How do you manage?
Living w/chronic pain most of my life. Opioids don't work for me, spinal cord stimulator helps. Exercise + mindfulness help also. I have use of a pool twice-weekly but must use rollator to help me walk. Pain care is mostly private and restricted in ROI, so very expensive! What access do you have to help

Cortisol blood test
Hi again, please excuse my apparent ignorance, probably brought about due to poor or insufficient advice from the Medical profession. I have two questions: I have been told by my GP to have a Cortisol blood test. The only information given to me is to have it done at 9 am. I asked him if I should stop

Anterior Spinal Fusion means I can no longer sit upright due to severe pain in my SI Joints/Sit bones. Anyone else had the same happen?
I had a 2 level (L4 /L5 & L5/S1) Posterior Fusion revised in 2017. Plus an additional Anterior Fusion at the same level. Now, 4 years later I am unable to sit upright. Not even in bed. Eating or movement in my lower abdomen also causes a great deal of pain in my SI Joints, groin, and thighs. I'd be

Large complex ovarian cyst
However, they realised I had a large anterial
spinal
fusion
scar on my stomach and decided to cancel the procedure due to it now being a more risky surgery--due to possible internal scar tissue sticking to organs and the bowel.
