Holiday AF
Hi, I haven't posted on here for a while, mainly because I have been in NSR since my ablation last year but still drop into to read posts. I saw my cardio a couple of weeks ago and we decided together to come off the AF meds. We discussed the risks around coagulation. Fast forward to today and I am currently

Hi Folks I am in a very confused state with my AF. I have been frequently in and out of fast AF up until my meds where changed. I was on the usual apixaban twice a day Flecainide 100 twice a day and Bisoprolol 2.5 once a day. The confusing things is that I had an angiogram nearly 4 weeks ago because

13 months since ablation
It's been 13 months since my ablation ... Although I have been in and had a angiogram everything is ticking away nicely. I still suffer a bit of breathlessness I'm trying to get fitter but feel like a different bloke never forgetting the havoc Af had on my life. Mentally I feel strong life's looking

just a question
Hi. My GP thinks I may have paroxysmal AF. However, every time we get an ECG done, they do not catch it in time. My heart rate will sometimes go up to 180 or 200 at times. It's also irregular. But, by the time I get there, for an ECG, it only picks up sinus rhythm or sinus tachy. I just wish it would

6 months since cryoblation and now have tachycardia.
Hi I posted a couple of months back to say I was having episodes of AF after my cryoblation in March. Well, I saw a cardiologist back in July for my follow up and was told that I probably have another sort of arrhythmia and was given an event monitor to wear for a month. Of course no A/F 😬 but had a

Rosamoyaesi update.
Follow-up. Hello to all the king people who took the time to reply to my initial query just over 3 weeks ago. As noted then, I was due to visit doc in the next two days. I went along, fired up and strong after my session here, only to leave later having learned nothing, despite my request for referral

Hello from the 'pirate island'. In the last month David has undergone scans, Xrays and MRIs with guidance from Pain Clinic consultant.. She was concerned about his upper back and shoulders realizing this was more than cervical spondilosis. While waiting for the results she gave him his 6th monthly

Amniotic graph second shot new update and really good News.
Hello fellow sufferers, Here is the latest. My pain has dropped significantly. It does still get worse with stress so I try not to get stressed out. I can only give you advice based on how I’m feeling. I can sit for longer periods of time but still have to get up I’m afraid I’m causing damage

Is atrial tachycardia just another name for a type of AF
Hi all I was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis just over a year ago. I then had an aortic valve replacement a couple of months later and due to my age it was decided to give me a mechanical valve replacement even though it will mean being on life long warfarin. Post operatively I developed a permanent

Reducing Bisoprolol
As many of you will know I asked my EP if I could change from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol because of my lethargy and breathlessness. He advised to try reducing from 3.75mg (which I have been on for 4 months after reducing from 5 mg) to 2.5 mg. I did this gradually for a couple of weeks and yesterday was

AF and drugs
Hi all , have just joined this group. I was diagnosed with AF finally last year which I was so shocked about and feel so miserable, and have recently had an ablation , 3 weeks ago , wanted to know if this is meant to be instantaneous as, do not feel a lot different may be not quite as bad with palpitations
