In the last month David has undergone scans, Xrays and MRIs with guidance from Pain Clinic consultant.. She was concerned about his upper back and shoulders realizing this was more than cervical spondilosis.
While waiting for the results she gave him his 6th monthly nerve block.
He always says the more the actual injection hurts the better pain relief he will get. This one was a corker to beat all corks.. So.....that bit of him is relatively good. For now.
As has spread up another vertebrae shredding more of the myelin sheath as it goes.
Verdict from all the scans? Scoliosis. Likely to have been caused by adjusting his gait to the original break in his back. 7 days of Etoricoxib and back to GP.
Now we have a full set of spine disintegration.
But the sun shines on while I pack for moving at end of this month!!! Only a few miles up the coast but area a little flatter and possibly more practical...if you can have practical on a volcanic island!!. Enormous garden so a challenge for me but one I will greatly enjoy. If sij and hip decide to join in I may succumb to a little help!!
And of course the dogs will be in their element!!

Hi I am Lola and I live in Australia. Do you have access to medical cannabis. My sister is on it and she has been in chronic pain for 6 months. Since going on medical marijuana she is a lot better. It protects the myelin sheath and could be helpful for you're partner.
Thanks for your reply Lolarufus123. Love your country and go as often as I can!
Here in the Canary Islands where we live we have access to all the cannabis products. David has recently started on vaping together with adding the dried plant to his pipe. GP doesn't approve and not on prescription.
His spine has been slowly disintegrating for over 30 years so maybe not able to stop that but hoping he will get some pain relief.....at last
