Hi everyone on Planet AF. I haven't posted on here since my first Cryo Ablation exactly six months ago. I don’t know if anyone has been following my problem regarding my Hand/Arm. After 2yrs from the start of the problem with my arm and to see the anaesthetist (which I was prepared for), but they decided to put me in the bracket of a High Risk patient, she told me that she had received a report (this was

Atrial tachycardia
Hi, I have just been diagnosed with atrial tachycardia and atrial ectopic salvo runs. This came through via letter after my implantable loop recorder picked it up. Please can anyone give me any info? There's not much online relating to adults. Is this something that's treated? It sure feels dangerous

Back In AF.
Hi everyone. After 9 days in NSR I woke up this morning back in AF. It certainly seems that food is one of my triggers, I didn't get home from work till 20.30 last night had my evening meal and went to bed at about 22.30. I'm thinking of having my main meal at dinner time and just having a snack for

Good afternoon, I have a question relating to the use of NOAC, specifically, Apixaban. I had a recent AF event, which is one of two that I have had over the last 3 years, I am 51. I have been advised that I need to take anticoagulant therapy in order to reduce my risk of Strokes (Unfortunately genetics

Would these be Afib ?
Hi everyone. I am 39, mother of 2, I started having palpitations this year. I august had 24 h ECG that showed several supra ventricular extrasystols and I was given metoprolol 50 mg daily. I did not take it daily as it lowers my BP which is already low. Since last Thursday I experience daily episodes

Hypothyroidism and sick sinus syndrome

Apixaban
Hi All, I was diagnosed with a blood clot on my lung 3 weeks ago and have been put on Apixaban. I get an ache in my chest on and off through out the day and assume its a side effect of the drug as the hospital was not concerned when I mentioned it. Is it worth switching to Rivaroxaban instead?

What would you do?
Hey guys hope you’re all well and good. I’m researching my latest and greatest problem and am interested in your opinions, knowledge or first hand experience would be fantastic. Besides my laundry list of respiratory issues I’m left hemiplegic from stroke in 90, due to this I’ve overused the right side

However yesterday I took a nice one hour walk with my wife and my heart

Pain is so bad and my blocks aren’t working anymore.
Hello fellow sufferers, Most of you that know me also know that I get 2 nerve blocks twice a month without the steroids only with the anesthetic. Well the last 2 that I got didn’t even last a day. In fact it felt like only my left side was done. I just got one done yesterday and the pain is
