Had 3rd amniotic shot. Not a happy camper.

Hello fellow sufferers

Well on December 4 I had a 3rd amniotic graph injection with botox minus the bladder installation. I’m supposed to get the bladder installation in January some time. I decided to do this because my husband and I were going on our honeymoon. I figured it has helped in the past for 3 months and brought the pain down to a tolerable level. Well was I wrong. I spent most of the honeymoon crying and in bed unable to walk. I also was suffering from hot flashes horrible. So I feel like my pain is by far the worst it has been since 5 years ago when I had a vulva vestibulectomy done. Today I’m going for a nerve block. A much needed one I feel. I’m almost ready to kill the amniotic in me by taking anti inflammatory but I wanna talk to the doctor first. I know it can take a few weeks to feel better but it has never been this bad after this procedure. Please pray for me that this block helps a little. Thanks guys. Just needed to vent. Deb. 😩

I'm so sorry! These damn nerves are so unpredictable. I hope everything will calm down soon. Anxiety always makes things worse. Self care is so important right now. Warm baths, meditation, xanax (if you can get it). Don't strain on the stool, drink plenty of water. Yada yada yada. I know you have heard these things a thousand times. Just know I'm thinking of you and praying for your pain to subside.

Thank you Nancy. I had a nerve block today that took the edge off. I spoke to my specialist she seems to think I need some bactrium that it may be related to bladder issues and I have to get my urine cultured tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that it’s the problem. Thanks again. Lots of prayers and hope for all of us. Deb.
