Introduction and questions
Hi ladies. Been lurking for a while but thought I'd jump on board and say hi! My husband and I have been TTC for about 18 months, like everyone else I never anticipated that we'd have trouble conceiving but here we are. I am 30 and my husband is 33. We've had all the tests done and everything normal

Future icsi mama?
Hi all, I'm new here. We have went through two rounds of fertility (icsi) treatments in the country where we used to live about year ago which unfortunately weren't successful. Our infertility is a male factor (low count and also motility adn morphology aren't great). And now we have been referral for

Falling AMH
So I got my AMH checked as I've been deciding whether to do a fresh or frozen cycle next. Last year I was tested twice but one of the results was lost, my level was 10. Anyway I spoke with the clinic and they found my previous results, originally it was 20, then dropped to 10 and now it's only 5, this

EC ✅ - now having ICSI
Hello my fellow TTC friends, I hope you are all well! Well we ended up getting 10 eggs ( more than we or the hospital expected) due to low AMH, some of my laid back follies grew 6-8mm in 1.5 days!!! Super chuffed. Hubby did the deed, but count was on the low side also low Volume so they have decided

EC done ✅
Afternoon everyone, I just thought I would update you and share my news seeing as I can't tell my friends. But they collected 17 eggs! The clinic have just called to say they have managed to inject 15 of them, which is fantastic news, me and my partner were so shocked, bearing in mind we never got this

Missed miscarriage at 8 weeks
So after 3 weeks of limbo and continual scans we have a confirmed missed miscarriage now our little embie stopped growing at 6 weeks :( I have had no bleeding or anything so feel like my body has given me false hope. I don't think I have ever felt this sad. To come this far after our second icsi cycle

Next step complete - EC went well
So I had my egg collection this morning. The procedure was just fine. Felt good and relaxed after my temazepam and felt only very mild discomfort. We all did a little cheer every time an egg was confirmed ☺ 7 eggs were collected, my lucky number so am just so happy!! Just need to wait and see how they

Hopefully ICSI due to v. poor sperm
Hi All We're just starting the IVF/ICSI process and we've come to it a very roundabout way. We were posted abroad (forces) last summer and in the move we discovered records that show where my husband thought he had one undescended testicle at birth it was actually both. It was also corrected late at

Worried about early scans
Hi everyone, I don't post very often on here but I am really struggling at the moment so just looking for some reassurance or advice. We finally got a BFP after our second fresh icsi cycle on Boxing Day. It is the first time I have ever been pregnant so I was so happy that I actually could get pregnant

Second round
Hi everyone, had a MC in June and I have since commenced my 2nd round of ICSI. I have my 1st scan on Thurs and I'm panicking. Last time I was overstimulated so this time bemfola has been decreased to 150iu. I'm scared that due to the big decrease in drugs that I will not produce enough follicles. Also

The end of our Miracle
Some of you might have read a previous post from me between Christmas and New Year when we had our first ever BFP and had the privilege to see a foetal pole heart beat. We have had years of trying for a child, 6 failed ICSI IVF rounds with a loss of 14 embryos and we decided to try the donor embryo route

Starting first icsi soon....minor meltdown in progress!
Hi everyone, I'm due to start my long protocol injections in around 4wks. This is our first round of ivf, we've been ttc for 4.5yrs as my dh has a very low count. I've been ok with the whole journey so far (relocations/relationship problems etc) with only the occasional wobble. It's taken so long to

Amh confusion.. going to just chill and go with flow
So my amh was tested in June at 4. 6 when I was 38. Was told this was low for my age then had failed icsi in October. I then have been taking dhea and coq10 we then got amh retested and it is now 9. 9. Great news but to be honest I think I am going to shelf the whole amh thing now and just chill for

Feeling crap
Hi I'm on my 3rd Round of icsi ivf. 2 fresh one. I'm on day 4 of buserlin injections and am feeling awful. Banging headaches, sick and dizzy. I never felt side effects the first 2 times so don't know if it's the injections or just a bug. Has anyone had any side effects while doing there cycles and can

Round 2 and even more confused
So all gearing up for round 2 long protocol Icsi. This is our last funded attempt and I have all sorts of feelings. We requested a consultation with a consultant which is tomorrow after our failed first attempt in October. I have my prostap injection on 27th jan. when I phoned yesterday to book treatment
