Chinese Medicine
We may be able to add to this as and when. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25628750 "In conclusion, acupuncture could be effective in decreasing
spasticity
after stroke, but long-term studies are needed to determine the longevity of treatment effects."

Marinol and other cannabinoids
Does it help with mood elevation, pain reduction, or decrease in
spasticity
? Yep. Does it do those things as well as actual medical marijuana? Nope - at least not for me.

Does anyone use walking /hiking poles for balance to get around?
Time to address my decline in balance and increase
spasticity
, I guess🙄 My doc sent me to EMS( outdoor sports store) to "try" a pair out. Have to admit physically I can see the benefits.I struggle mentally. I HATE feeling like I stick out like a sore thumb.

Neuro/MS specialist & Ocrevus update
My
spasticity
has been greatly reduced, my neuropathy at times is almost non existiant. If my feet get hot I can start to feel it coming on, but for the most part, my feet don't feel like their on fire and being stabbed by thousands of needles! I am extatic about how I am doing.

Spacidity Question/Poll for everyone.....
After speaking to the MS nurse coordinator at my neurologist office she told me that if I experienced that type of
spasticity
attack again I needed to come in and see them right away.

Myself, my brother, differences in symptoms.
Bad
spasticity
, shocking all-body spasms. Him 49, slight limp, legs twitch a bit at night, feels "a bit tired". This could be nothing, but when I was 11yo, I was climbing on rocks on the beach. Big rocks. I slipped and smacked my head right on a rock. Really went down with a bang.

Amusing, new symptom...
I've developed a new area of
spasticity
in my body - my right, middle finger! It's not that I've never used it for "non-verbal" communication, but now, it's pretty stiff and sore which puts that out of the question.

Update
Though the majority of my
spasticity
has been not quite as bad overall other than my arm. My feet are pain free most of the time, I have been able to climb the stairs into my RV with out the use of the hand rails. I have never been able to do that!

Update on Ocrevus.
So far, results from that person seemed positive as their
spasticity
was improving and their balance issues seem to be less prominent. That is all I know this point. Anything if I hear I will post immediately as interest in our latest, promising therapy is high!

Medicinal Marijuana
My worst symptoms are
spasticity
in my right leg and arm, especially at night after going to bed. I also suffer at times with extreme pain. I'm on 40 mg of baclofen & 2 mg of clonazepam every night, but it seldom helps. I tried Botox for a year but that didn't help either.
