also both hands keep locking into like a spasticity if hold anything for small length of time in addition blepharitis, mouth ulcers and fatigue....its pretty grim !

The link between the two conditions is that MS gives me fatigue and muscle spasticity. Hypothyroid on top of that gives me colossal fatigue. And levothyroxine tablets exacerbate the spasticity so I am very atuned to any changes in fatigue or muscle cramps.

Back in May I had horrible headaches and extreme spasticity in my shoulders and neck. After a week I went to instant care. Dr said I most likely had an MS flare causing the bad spasticity and that was causing tension headaches.

I am okay, but experiencing some "crap gap" symptoms, like extra spasticity and increased cog fog. Can anyone tell me what happens with those symptoms when you're off Ocrevus for longer? I'm just curious if your symptoms level off. Thank you.

Hello my dear friends, My spasticity has gotten worse in my legs. I did a baclofen pump trial about 20 years ago. Made my legs too weak. Now I have much tone, especially my right leg. I don't think much had changed.

He liked everything he saw but wanted to reduce my spasticity. So he increased my gabapentin dose from 400 mg to 700 mg. I handle 400 mg just fine. But adding 300 mg increased my spasticity tenfold and shot my blood pressure up so high I nearly passed out several times.

Recently seem to have developed spasticity, and a variety of increased other fun things so I was poking around online trying to find forums!

I wonder if it would eliminate spasticity thus helping walking a bit.

Spasticity, bowel and bladder, neuropathy? Foot pain. I try to research. Not good taking just anything for pain. Neurpathic neuropathy? Feet,legs, calfs sharp pins and needles pain. I read how important to be positive, informed. Thanks 🙏

Hi guys, for the ones who have the more violent spasticity and don’t take baclofen. What do you use?

It woukd seem its a birth defects and it's location was very rare and possibly serious due to my muscle spasticity. I already have a lump of scar tissue in my cheek from accidentally biting it all the time. My lip has had the same trauma but I lucked out.

He believes they are tension headaches due to spasms, not spasticity in my neck and shoulders. He told me to stop taking amitripaline, and instead added tizanidine for reducing spasms at night and meloxicam for reducing inflammation in the morning.

Before asking him about it, I wanted to see if anyone was using a pain pump for pain in the upper body, because I'm struggling with neck pain from multiple neck issues with the additional burden of painful spasticity in addition to that.

Is this spasticity? Does this sound like what anyone has experienced? Thanks for your help. I have so many questions like this one, lol.

My physio came up with a very positive research paper on it and apparently it's currently prescribed for spasticity. I've seen some old post but nothing recently :) Thank you!

All a couple of years ago I went to hospital with stroke like symptoms but a consultant within 30 seconds said I had FND trouble is now it is on my notes and I am getting worse the other consultant seen FND and sent me home when he seen my notes, My walking and balance is a 100 times worse I have Spasticity

One year ago, my spasticity was so severe I took too many Baclofen tablets at the same time, that I almost died! Now I take 1 Tizanidine at bedtime.

what muscle-relaxing drugs do you take?

Through all of that my MS has stayed stable other than an increase in spasticity. The previous six months saw pneumonia and severe asthma attacks that landed me in the ER twice. I was hoping 2024 would give me a fresh start. Not yet. I need a break. My body is tired.
