Taking t3 in one go......advice
Hi all I'd appreciate some advice or thoughts please. Currently on 100 t4 15 t3. I was taking t3 3x a day but I found the middle one difficult to fit in due to work. Quite by chance I started taking 10 at night, 5 in the morning. A bedtime dose has always helped sleep. I don't get that "boost" that

Should I supplement with Iron?
Hello everyone. These are my latest iron results and I'm wondering if I need to supplement with Iron. Your thoughts are most welcome. Thank you. TIBC 45 (range 45-72)Transferrin Satn 40% (16-50). Consider Haemochromatosis if >40% for females.

Hi thereSaw gastro after suffering from unexplained vitamin deficiencies (folate, ferritin/iron, borderline B12 and D) and despite having clear coeliac blood tests he wanted to rule it out. Why do I have heart palpitations with these thyroid results?
Hello beautiful people. I would love to get your input as to why I get heart palpitations, high pulse and HBP with my current thyroid and other results. Yes, my TSH is slightly raised, but it actually went down from 6.9 in Nov to 4.9 in Feb on Levo 75 mcg, so it should continue to go down. I've

hi all- could someone help me with the below blood test results. I was tested for auto immune disorder last month and that came back clear. Is there a test I should suggest next? My iron and saturation levels have come back low also. I take 50mg of levothyroxine. I originally developed hypothyroidism

THC and augmentation
In researching THC use and RLS, it is described as a dopamine agonist. Is there evidence it can also produce augmentation? . It works very well for me and does not produce the side effect that makes Gabapentin, Lyrica or opioids unacceptable options. However I can’t use it much because of my line of

T3 still low even with good T4
Is it possible to get T3 prescribed on the NHS? I am in Norfolk and I think there was some action around it? Or is the only option to go private? In the 7 months since I've been diagnosed with Hashimotos my T3 has only gone from 3.22 to 3.8 even though my T4 is now in top third. But my latest TSH is

Pramipexole to Sinemet to ?
I've previously posted that I had been using pramipexole (P) for over 30 years, had only learned about augmentation recently and was in the process of transitioning off P to Sinemet (S)(recommended by my PCP). The transition went very well, however, an allergic reaction to S (a rash developed) made

Curing RLS not just treating the symptoms
Thank you for the priceless pages of RLS tips and advice! I’ve been struggling to diagnose my 3 year old son’s sleep issues his entire life. A sleep study reveled his “kicking legs” last year which (we believe) set us on the right path. So far, adding

Cancer Diet Studies
All the cancer diet studies we have discussed lately appear to have one thing in common. That is the authors have never developed nor witnessed the development of a successful cancer diet. If they had, they wouldn't appear as a 5th grade science project . . . who outsourced the statistics. If we could

success with Threearrows - for anyone struggling with LOW IRON/FERRITIN
After 6 months I am finally seeing some progress with my iron panel! I spent 3 months on 4 ferrous gluconate tablets a day and my ferritin, saturation and iron barely budged. In fact, my serum iron actually decreased. I felt completely miserable with the prospect that I wouldn’t be able to optimise

Two weeks of relief
I have had two weeks of *total* remission. So of course, I am trying to figure out why. I think it is possible that it has to do with adding soy to my diet. I am not sure that this is the answer, and it’s only been two weeks, but I am sharing this in case it resonates with anyone else or helps provide
