iron tablets and raising lFT

4 years diagnosed, stopped responding to Urso .

I have been started on Bezalip after a year my lFT are raising again , I have been taking iron tablet’s could this possibly affect my results?

It’s worth speaking to your consultant when it comes to taking iron.

I’ve been given iron as my levels were low, and my hair was falling out, dermatologist thought it might be the iron making it worse. I had her check with my liver consultant first before I would take them. My last bloods were all okay and my consultant can now at least monitor what happens.
