Hi, I am new here. I’m very depressed over...take your pick....Dialysis, COVID-19, my husband’s Alzheimer’s.......
Hi, I’m likely facing dialysis sooner than later, I have a tendency to sluff off
sodium
, so it runs low/normal, I’m thinking Zoloft is the only antidepressant I could take. If you’re on an antidepressant, which one has worked for you?

How to safely drink fluids with Ascites
Since he has to follow a low
sodium
diet and restrict fluid intake, can anyone share what kinds of fluids they drink or have drunk that doesn’t contribute to additional abdominal swelling? What is a safe amount per day, and what is too much? Is there anything that helped you or things to avoid?

Wedding Cake, PSA rising and Scans showing a bunch more spots on bones all over.
My latest (monthly) PSA went from 10.4 to 20.9~~and my every 3 months Axumin Pet Scan shows: (last only showed 2 lymph nodes in the pelvic area.) Musculoskeletal: There are multiple radiotracer avid osseous lesions, some of the lesions are sclerotic while others do not have underlying definite CT correlate

Is Diet and Exercise helpful?
Diagnosed with CKD for a couple of years now and one of the main factors I see often in managing or slowing the eGFR count is Diet & Exercise (losing weight), a diet with less or no
sodium
and no red meat seems to be the one subject I often stumble upon. Is that a good summarization?

Holy cramp
I drank some water, and had a couple of salty crisps in case it was lack of
sodium
, and after about an hour, the cramping had stopped and I was left with only the usual 'worked' feeling in my muscles, no pain at all. Am I right thinking it might have been low salt?

Nalcrom available to be imported
I have just heard from the DHSC that at least three importers have been able to source
sodium
cromoglycate from outside the UK. These medicines can be imported unlicensed.
