AFIB and Colonoscopy Prep
I've read that this type of prep (huge amounts of
sodium
) can be a problem for folks with heart or other health issues. Was hoping to get some feedback from our group as to your experiences and the prep(s) you've used...considering our AFIB issue.

Correctly written prescription...do they exist? 🫤
So I spoke with the Surgery and yet again they are adamant that they can only request Levothyroxine with requested brand in brackets
Levothyroxine
100microgram tablets
56 tablet - take one each morning ( Vencamil)
Has anyone actually been able to get it successfully named?

Indapimide and Losartan
I have done my research indapimide clears off the
sodium
and potassium while Losartan brings in the potassium. Will my body not get confused or does this lead to a metabolic equilibrium?

IBS (d) worse on holiday
Husband & I decided to have a few days break after new year & booked 3 nights in a hotel. Fine the first day & then off I went. First movement normal & then becoming more liquid plus clear mucus, nausea, cramps & burping. Thank god for Imodium & Buscopan. I did not eat foolishly, don’t drink or smoke

what to do next?
bloods showed WBC 11.2 ( her WBC always raised since on pred), ESR 43 and low
sodium
. So abx stopped today and I should reduce pred back according to the sick day rules.

Kidneys affected by Hydroxyurea?
Was admitted to hospital last week due to severely low
sodium
levels and creatinine levels were way off normal. Admitting diagnosis was acute kidney failure. Nephrologists were not sure what was causing the change in my kidney’s health.

Low Sodium Bread SEARCH
Found a bread machine on facebook marketplace for $25, almost new and am trying recipes with no salt. So far it is good toasted, but not very good for sandwiches (which I eat open face). But there are some really good herbal version that are tasty. So, I am trying to find my favorite recipe. No idea

Low Sodium Level
I just received my blood test results and my
sodium
level is on the low side. The typical normal range for
sodium
in the blood is between 135-145 millimoles per liter and mine was at 134 (it has been in the late-130s in the past.)

Blood tests
My husband was in hospital last Saturday with
sodium
levels at 125. He had a drop then sent home. Our gp has requested repeat bloods to monitor his
sodium
. I took him to the blood clinic and was turned away because it was full, even though they had just opened. Was told to make an appointment.

Good News
I have been taking 3x 25mcg Tiromel and I got Mercury Pharma Liothyronine
Sodium
, the pills are 20mcg, he told me to take them 3x and the 50mcg Levo first thing in the morning. I’ll have to get used to that 🙈 Has anyone had this kind of change to their meds? If so, anyone experienced any issues?

night out flare up
sitting in a lovely hotel room with hubby, due to see a show in 3 hrs and having a bad flare up. Lots of trapped wind, pain and dashing to the loo. Taken an Imodium but feel washed out now. Supposed to be having a nice meal before show, but now scared to eat, and not sure if I can make show either😭.
