Private testing - how to decide which tests? Resume supplements?
But I've also seen suggestions to test for RT3, B12 & D3, 4 x iron tests, Magnesium, Potassium,
Sodium
levels, sex hormones, MTHFR, inflammation... can anyone help with indications for why you would or wouldn't need these tests, please?

Post transplant 3 weeks. Here to give hope and info.
During stay had dialysis and
sodium
increased. Then assessed for transplant. Deemed fit enough physically and psychologically etc. Deemed only and best course of treatment. Went on the top priority list as most failing liver in the country at that point. So transplanted within 2 days.

Short of breath at 3a?
Electrolytes are basically good though low on
sodium
2-4 pts. sometimes. Magnes. good. Both neph doctor and GP keep saying it's not my kidney disease. GP gave me a muscle relaxer which I don't like as it wipes out my memory.

Bipolar Disorder and restlessness
I am now on
sodium
valproate, aripiprazole and sertraline. I am struggling so much with restlessness at the moment to the point I can’t sit still and I feel so out of my mind with boredom of mundane life.

4 Year Old Stool Withholding
She has had three 5ml doses of
sodium
picosulfate alongside 3 laxido sachets a day. I don’t know what else to do. I’m absolutely at a loss. This takes over our lives to the point where we can’t even really go out. And potty training? It doesn’t feel like it’ll ever happen.

As a result of some symptoms I reported to my Transplant Coordinator (“TC”) because I was recently prescribed
Sodium
Bicarbonate for the low CO2 result in my blood test, the TC ordered a Urine Culture test for me at LabCorp. It came back with a “colony” of bacteria in my bladder.

IBS after eating evening meal
I have been a coeliac for many years, when I was diagnosed I thought my diarrhoea would cease. I also have trouble with an over active bladder. My diarrhoea seems to arrive about 4 hours after my evening meal. It can happen up to 4 times a week then perhaps nothing the next week. I get very painful cramps

What first?: Provenge or Nubeqa?
I have not used 2d line AR drugs yet. CRPC just started six months ago. My PSA is below 1. One small, suspected area on last month's PSMA PET scan. That is the same area that looked suspicious on PSMA PET in 2016 and on Axumin in early 2021. I did IADT 2016-2020, with continuous ADT since Jan 2021

What's my correct egofr.. Creatinine decreased from 94.96umol/L last may to 90.58 today....but egfr remained at 83%.
All electrolytes were within normal range except
sodium
was low at 130.36(136-145) and Chloride was also low at 95.82(97-108).. potassium was at 4.72 (3.5-5.1). From my own research with a creatinine of 90.58, I got egfr of 87.

He is actually not hugely unwell down in a large part to the success of the diuretics but
sodium
could be a concern and if diuretics needed to be stopped then I expect they would speed up the assessment process. They are going very slow to help him get his head around it all.
