Cavernous Tumor & Rising PSA
My husband had triple therapy with docetaxel (finished chemo in January), darolutimide, and Firmagon/Lupron. Recently he developed what seemed like a sinus infection but was really a tumor in his sinus cavity and behind his eye socket wrapped around his carotid arteries on the plate of his skull (

Tapioca in gluten free products/reduces iodine absorption?
Hi I’ve just discovered, in a roundabout way, that tapioca can affect iodine absorption,so not advised for those with thyroid issues. I don’t know scientifically about this, just thought I’d mention on here. I have a type 1 latex allergy, have been on a gluten free diet to improve thyroid, but noticed

Another miracle cure :)
Any opinions on sodium chloro acetate. I am anxious to try an herbicide on my cancer :) but seriously if you google a bit there is some sense to the explanations as to how it might help to reduce cancer. Anyone try this

🤷🏻♀️ Sudden jump up in T4
Morning all 😉 I have Hashimoto’s and have had radio active iodine treatment over 16 years ago so have been on Levothyroxine since. I’m familiar with all the testing and get regularly tested by my GP. I also private test occasionally to check my T3 as my local area do not test that on the NHS. I

Continued Journey
I am home. I was released on Tuesday day+19. Yes, this is a significant earlier leave of hospital care than expected. The last day was busier than expected. I had an infusion of magnesium and RBCs. The Red Blood Cells was to move up anticipation of coming back on Thursday; labs, possible RBC infusion

How many kidney disease patients are limiting their diets to plant based (vegetarian)? I did, and my GFR is almost normal.
Kidneys are still damaged but swtching to vegetarian reduces load through diet. Rduce sodium, calories, Potassium, Phosphourus to limits enforced through diet will help damged kidneys to be able to function well enough to maintain normal GFR etc.

ERFA with added iodine
Hiya.I have recently sourced a batch of ERFA via a private pharmacy, but after reading the fine print on the bottle, I have noticed it also contains 0.2 % of iodine. I thought this would be counterproductive, as iodine supplementation is not recommended with hypothyroidism? I am now concerned about

Researching Iodine supplementation. Theres a couple of fascinating books on the subject. Iodine is a very powerful element in regards to its effect on the human body. It seems like most of the people of the world are Iodine deficient Adding Iodine to salt, according to the books, does absolutely zilch
