Hi all I'm reposting my results alongside the nutritional profile I just got back today. Sorry if it's not the done thing to repost - please let me know if so!! But would be great to get some advice on next steps - should I just monitor, or should I be doing more. TSH 6.36 (0.27-1 Normal, 1-2.5 optimal

Ate too much sodium
Oops. I ate a sub that turned out to be higher in sodium that I thought. Went way over my limit. So question - what is best way to flush out all the sodium I ate and how long will it take?

Update on My Father's Cirrhosis - Seems Stable
Hello, As we found out about my father's Cirrhosis in February after we noticed his swollen stomach. His Ascites of 2.5ltr was drained in on Feb 23, 2019. It was followed by Endoscopy where grade 3 varices were diagnosed. He never had bleeding, but doctors recommended banding, so he had it done in

Sodium
Had bloods back today and my GFR has gone up by 1 it's now 21, it's not massive amounts but I'm taking it as a small victory. My Creatinine has gone down from 260 to 250 do again small victory. My sodium however has fallen to 26 had this happened to anyone else, if so what are the possible treatments

Omeprazole and Imodium... Thoughts?
I’ve recently been prescribed 40mg Omeprazole (20mg to be taken twice a day) after experiencing difficulty swallowing. I felt great for 4 days then started to experience difficulties again (for the subsequent 4 days) although not with every meal. At times I’m having to cough my food forward due to fear

Fodmap re-introduction whilst on imodium?
I have been on fodmap restriction (phase 1) for over a year. Amazing results until recently when my D returned with a vengeance, and a bit of gas, but I have had no bloating or pain (which was previously severe). I am taking imodium regularly to control the D and it's really working, (regular BM with

Overwhelmed
Hey everyone. I’ve been reading some of these posts and feel it’s time to share my story. I am 28 and over the past year my gfr has gone from 30 to 16. I am just starting the process with the hospital to get a transplant. I have IGAN and feel really alone. My nephrologist doesn’t have the best bed side

My Creatinine level is 1.72. My GFR currently is 43. Has anyone found a way to manage their asthma symptoms naturally? I have heard good things about using cromolyn sodium - Ital for asthma .
I've tried several different inhalers all giving me side effects. So I'm trying to manage my symptoms naturally by changing my diet...no grains, dairy, sugar or alcohol. So far my symptoms are lessen. I also have heard about people taking Ital in their neb for maintenace. I'm trying Nasacrom as I've
