Ferrograd C - does it sell in the UK?
Hi all, I’m in the UK for some time and I can feel that my iron is low again (been a continuous issue for years, I know the signs). In Australia I used to take Ferrograd C with fantastic results. Is there an equivalent here? I haven’t come across it. Ferrograd: Each tablet contains: Dried ferrous

Blood results - I don't know what they mean!
Hello everyone, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have recently been diagnosed with severe auto-immune hypothyroidism for which I have begun treatment. Along with the thyroid bloods there were kidney ones and I was wondering whether they are ok as they are close to the edge of the ranges. Serum

It’s 3am and I have a migraine
Hi all, I’m a 21 year old female with genetic history of migraines, my grand father had surgery on his brain because of migraines (weird to me), and my aunt has a pseudotumor on the optic nerve. I’ve been dealing with migraines since I was a kid. The earliest I remember is around 7. I have been on countless

Seeking a salt substitute
Since I went on a low sodium diet due to heart failure and kidney disease, I have been searching for a salt substitute that I like, while avoiding anything with chemical content. I have tried Mrs. Dash table blend, etc., and it's okay but not real satisfactory for me. The best so far appears to be

Thinkin Bout Things, Salt this time
With a bit of time, even things like the COVID virus are accommodated by our fears and broader concerns bubble back up. One of the challenges faced by a lot of people with serious chronic illness is that they are alone physically or emotionally. As I think about these past weeks and staying at home

Random attacks
I think most of us are aware of what causes flare ups, be it specific foods, stress etc. But does anyone just get random attacks for no reason? This week I’ve had 2 really bad bouts of diarrhoea, Imodium helped but I still have the cramps and general pains. Nothing unusual eaten this week, been good

Struggle with fibre
Hi it seems that any kind of fibrous food sets my IBS off, and fatty foods give me heartburn. Do you think there may be a reason for this? I am taking some probiotics and will take Imodium regularly, although on lockdown haven’t needed to. So really just asking if anyone else is the same and what foods

Random toothpaste question
I hope everyone is, well. My friend recommended oral b 3 d white toothpaste but not sure if safe in pregnancy, does anyone know? I think I read somewhere that if it contains sodium hydoxide it's no good. Thanks

Hes started me on

Docetaxal is considered ineffective due to a rising PSA. 4 sessions completed a increase of 2.7 to 9.3 now leap frogging to a phase 1 trial
I am not sure how things accelerated to a phase one harpoon clinical trial. According to my oncologist, and my new prostate doc they believe based on the trouble some PSA increase it may be time to explore other options. I suggested 3 potential ideas that I had thought were possible options parp inhibitor

ALD with normal labs.
Hey y'all. I'm from the states so some terminology may be different. My story: I've been drinking moderately to heavily for 15 years, with a few years off while pregnant. I quit 49 days ago. Since stopping I have experienced a range of concerning symptoms. Feeling unsteady, as if the ground is rocking

Planning a pregnancy with bipolar disorder
Hi all, My partner and I have decided to start trying for a baby towards the end of this year (as I need to come off of sodium valproate before trying). I've had a diagnosis of bipolar 1 since I was seventeen, and am now twenty-five. I've had some very general discussions with my psychiatrist about pregnancy
