Problems with veins
Anyone have problems with finding veins and what helps? I have tried drinking lots of water but don't think that does anything to help. Got stuck 3 times yesterday trying to get a CT scan with contrast. Told to drink lots of water and come back Monday. I've done this with labs at my doctor's office

Any thoughts?
I was diagnosed with cll in 2013. I am new to this site. My numbers continue to go up. Any thoughts on diet that might help? When should I start chemo or immunotherapy?

CLL in the Central Nervous System: Any Experience with Cytarabine (Cytosar)?
Here's a weird one: my CLL has found its way to my cerebospinal fluid. It appears to be associated with lesions observed in the brain lining and behind both my retinas. Confirmed by a spinal tap, eye biopsy, MRI, about 17 million examinations and tests, etc. I've got a world-class CLL expert, Dr Bruce

Explainer: what is chemotherapy and how does it work?
While more relevant to solid cancer treatment, much of this article provides a useful background to CLL treatment. Of particular interest is the natural origin of many cancer treatments covered in the section '
Where did we find the drugs?

Hi All have had PBC for over 10 years and now i am showing high Creatinine levels, has anybody else noticed their levels going up, just wondered if it could have anything to do with taking Urso. Any feed back would be great Tia.

Ocular Lymphoma
Weird as it sounds, I apparently have lymphoma in my right eye. I'm in the care of of an outstanding team of specialists at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the US and have no reason to doubt it. They have now ruled out retina issues, infections, and all other possible causes. They took a biopsy of the eye

Travel insurance (again) - UK
I have previously recommended good2go on here, as WorldFirst had been really unhelpful. However this morning good2go gave me a quote for 2 weeks in Cuba for £762 or £985 for two people (only one with CLL which is in complete remission). the difference was the level of cancellation and baggage cover

Cancer Support Groups
Do you find any support from local patient groups for people living with a cancer or specifically a lymphoma diagnosis. Have you found it helpful or do you prefer to access support online?

Follicular Lymphoma in Mesentery
Hello My doctor has told me the lymphoma has spread to lymph nodes in the mesentery ... I cannot see much about this so am asking if anyone has this condition, and if there are any special areas that need to be watched by me as a patient? My initial biopsy was under my jaw, I now also have swollen inguinal

FCR...the "gold standard" for CLL
Well, after all kinds of advice and doing some serious research, I decided to go to OSU James Cancer Center for treatment. Dr. Byrd will give me FCR outpatient. I start Wed. May 3. I cant sleep or do much of anything. I am anxious but relieved to finally start treatment. I am trisomy 12 simple karotype

Now Hodgkins...
4 long weeks, 2 hospitals, and about a dozen specialists it took to diagnose my very sick husband. They were all over the board with CLL, infection, no CLL, no infection. Bmb, 2 liver biopsies, PET, CT, ultra sound. His counts are down to nothing, bilirubin sky high. Finally they told us Friday that
